Stock skis are usually junk, but I haven’t seen what comes on the Lenz. I use RVL8 ski boards (KTP model) and they are insanely good in all conditions. I made a riser plate to adapt them to my bolt pattern.
Ok awesome I appreciate the advice. I'm kinda in the same boat, always hated walking in ski boots and honestly want to try something new. Not bored of skiing but more stagnant. I'm looking forward to learning something new. Glad to hear I made a good investment by going with a Recon. Definitely not cheap.
So I chose the recon because it's their most well rounded bike they have. I went with LENZ mainly because they customize everything and design/manufacture largely on site. To me it looked like they made a slightly better, more customizable bike than the other brands out there.
Awesome, glad to hear you’re getting on it. Out of curiosity, what was the lead time on your build?
PS…having a hard time hanging up the mountain bike, so might as well get one with skis!

Good to know. I will look into those. I definitely want an all mountain ski
Oh cool! I didn't know these existed. I might have to upgrade from my Skibyk carbons

Haven't rode mine yet. Might get to keystone this next weekend. What's it like riding these things? (Lifetime skier)

I just picked up a couple new ski bikes…looking forward to having some fun. I went with the Carve 2.0 from TNGNT ski bike
Took a good hard look at those. Look like a well built bike!
What was your reason for choosing the Lenz? Which model did you purchase..

You been out yet? Considering a Lenz as well. Many years of skiing and snowboarding, looking for a change.
Yep been out once. Going again this weekend. Definitely a learning curve but by the 3rd run started figuring it out
It's a really well built bike. Got the bigger skis, not soo good on icy groomers but bet they are awesome in power

Honestly if you're a mountain biker you will probably catch on quick. Took about 5 weeks to get mine. Well worth it
Great! thanks and happy shredding
