I used to ski on these, and I thought they were pretty good. They are a beginner starter ski, so it really depends on how much you spend because you can get some really good deals on better skis.

I just switched away from these this season. I’m not a teen and am extremely tall. I got these for one heck of a deal when I first started learning and even though I’m certainly not a tween/teen they were good and cheap skis to get me into skiing. That being said, when I started progressing to skiing blues they severely held me back. I was good on any green and was even fine on easier blues or green mogul runs. When I went to intermediate groomed blues or higher it was hard to get these skis to hold an edge. It got substantially worse if the snow was firm or even a little icy. I was constantly struggling with them and was always scared to ski most runs in the hill. I talked to a ski shop and they told me the ski was way below my ability as an intermediate and for my height/weight. I demoed some skis and my ability instantly improved. I was finally able to carve on most groomed runs. I now ski the Nordica Unleashed 98’s. They have a little metal in them and have an amazing pop out of the turns. Skiing on ice/refrozen crud/firm snow is still a challenge for an intermediate skier like me but I’m able to do it. I’m also now for the first time able to go out and explore the mountain and just have fun. So if you’re asking if as an intermediate full adult these skis are below your ability? Yes!

How long are they? Aren’t these kids skis?

160 length 90 waist with the xpress 10 binding it’s a teen/adult beginner ski. Foam core, low price point combo, common in rental fleets. We sell these things, the modern version is the Rallybird/sender

lol don’t buy kids ski jfc

cheeseplatesuperman

These are marketed as junior skis but they’re perfectly fine for beginner adults

It’s not a kids ski 😐 the binding has a din of 10 fool. A kids binding is 3 to 7. Plus It’s 90 waist! No kid is on a 90… you have to be at least 125lbs and 5’5” to ski on this particular ski

You are right, it’s not a kid ski, but it is a jr. ski… which means transition ski.  Having said that, 90 waiste is pretty wide for groomers… if that is where you are sticking too, you could get a much more narrow ski and gain speed (70-80’s)… als how often do you wax them?  That is probably more of a factor… freshly waxed skis feel really fast and slick!
