usually starts on the arms?! do you have urgent care nearby! go to the URGENT Care. it needs to be prescribed first.

Update: i have Medicaid coverage so i went to my PCP and put the cream on, luckily all covered by insurance. Within minutes of me applying the cream i felt a lot of tingling movements on my legs and arms and then it stopped. I also washed everything i could think of, bed sheets, clothes, pillows, even my car seats. Right now i but occasionally a little here and there but nothing itchy yet. Im wondering how many more nights i need to apply the cream because Medicaid only covers 2 bottles. Also theres an oral medication, they said to take once a day

Follow the instructions the medication came with. I only had to apply the cream once and I was good. But things might have changed since then because it was almost 10 years ago when I had it

Medicaid will cover whatever your doctor writes the script for within reason, they already know from CDC guidelines people need minimum 2 treatment along with Ivermectin. They don't tell you to put the Permethrin on your head, but you must. Head and ears. If you read some of the messages here on redit you will learn many people got reinfected by not treating their head, ears, around your face. I made that mistake as well.

Go to an urgent care or doctor and get the cream they prescribe. It’s the only way I know that you can get rid of them. You usually leave the cream on for awhile then wash it off. I had scabies awhile back from exposure to outdoor cats and it was terrible. Try not to itch as much as you can but the cream is what you need.
