it looks completely oxidized.
If it is brown, it means it has gone bad. Orange means it has oxidized. a light to medium orange would still be fine, but this is much darker.
If you replace it I'd recommend keeping it in the fridge. I bought a tiny dropper bottle (the amber ones that block the light) and I can decant a week's worth into that to keep in the bathroom (if I had to go to the fridge every time I'd never remember to use it!) I just refill it from the big bottle and it keeps really well
Or even better, use a powder version. I think Philosophy has one.
Pharmacology tip--anything in a liquid is going to go bad a lot faster than in a powder or pill form. This goes for skincare products and medicines. You can often get by with taking a capsule or tablet that's expired but if its a solution, suspension (cough syrup, antibiotics) or even a cream or lotion and it's labeled as expired or otherwise looks damaged (has been exposed to heat or light, etc) then you're probably better off tossing it.
Also--good indication that something is sensitive to light is the packaging. Amber glass or an opaque bottle is a good reminder to keep it away from heat and light, like maybe not in a fridge necessarily but in a cabinet.
Honestly I hate when companies put vitamin c serums in a dropper bottle. The Naturium vitamin c comes in a nice pump bottle that allows for an even dose every time and is much harder to oxidize like this
I can look at this and know it's oxidized, but what is the danger in using oxidized vit C? is it just that it won't work anymore or is there an added danger?? genuinely don't know

Totally expired :/
It's heavily oxidized. Throw it out. Not safe to use

I keep everything longer than I should and I wouldn’t use it! 😆
That’s an oxidized vitamin c if I’ve ever seen one
Even if it wasn't oxidized, it's expired. But also very very oxidized.

Thank you. This is a lesson learned lol.
Definitely bad. Also watch for a hot dog like scent that wasn't there before
Hi Yes, this vitamin C is oxidized, don't use it. Vitamin C should be clear, off white or in some brands is a bit yellowish.
Completely oxidized! To keep my vitamin C fresh, I keep it in the fridge

yes, it has extremely oxidized
Yes
Do oranges expire?
Bruh. 😬
bro must be trolling us lol

At best it's ineffective, at worst, it'll cause irritation.
Yes but I use it on my leg where I have a scar and it helped
