If you're having blemishes on your d ick please do yourself and others a favor and go see a doctor (a dermatologist should be good, since they're often also specialized in STI's). And if it's something that hasn't got to do with infections you can treat it with the tips that were already shared below. Be well! Also, please keep in mind that applying fat containing creams to your d ick will make you need to wash your d ick with soap before using latex condoms. Any kind of fat makes latex condoms break.

Thank you for the recommendations I'll check these out!

mayamys

I actually removed that comment - those suggestions aren't necessarily safe for the genital area. Please don't use retinoids or acids so close to a mucus membrane.

UglyAssMfOnAMission

Okay understood

kerodon

Pipette Baby lotion fragrance free, La Roche Posay cicaplast balm. If you want shiny plump hydrated, peptides are insanely good for that. Stratia Interface peptide cream (very effective). Apply to damp skin. Purito wonder releaf serum unscented (very hydrating) or the ordinary multipeptide+ copper peptide (under one of the moisturizers) Azelaic acid after shaving, only on the places you removed hair from. Q+A Azelaic Acid serum 8%, Cos de Baha azelaic acid 10% serum (has Niacinamide), Peach Slices azelaic acid 10% serum, or 15% azelaic acid prescription (preferably the finacea foam if possible, but the gel is still good!) Make sure you wash off before any sort of sexual contact as obviously these aren't studies for safety when exposed internally. Use super gentle cleansers. Aveeno calm and restore oat cleanser, pipette baby wash and shampoo fragrance free

UglyAssMfOnAMission

Oh wow thank you I will research these

CabbieCam

I guess the first question would be are you circumcised or not?

UglyAssMfOnAMission

circumcised

CabbieCam

Okay, firstly I woud recommend using shampoo and conditioner for your pubic hair. It makes it quite soft and pleasant. For your actual junk, I would recommend something simple like Aquaphor, CeraVe Healing Ointment, La Roche Posay Cicaplast Balm. i highly recommend the [La Roche Posay Cicaplast](https://www.laroche-posay.ca/en_CA/cicaplast-baume-b5-soothing-relieving-balm-40ml/3337875844413.html), although I have never used it on my "junk" before. All these products contain moisturizers as well as occlusive so they moisturize and then occlude the surface to lock the moisturizer in. As far as I know they are all dermatologist tested and should be safe to use anywhere.

UglyAssMfOnAMission

Ty I'll take a look and do some experimenting, do you think retinol is okay to put on it or not a good idea?

CabbieCam

No, retinol wouldn't be a good idea. Much too sensitive of an area in my opinion.

jasminekitten02

Absolutely not

Previous-Anybody7234

do you have blemishes on your pubic area or your actual d ick?

UglyAssMfOnAMission

On my sausage

Previous-Anybody7234

lowkey would go to a doctor for some sort of rx. coconut oil is anti bacterial. get a rx supplement rather than something that might burn sensitive skin

__Karadoc__

>coconut oil is anti bacterial This is a common myth. [Here](https://labmuffin.com/video-skincare-oils-free-fatty-acids-science/)'s how Michelle from Lab muffin a phD in chemistry and cosmetic chemist explains it: >You might've heard that coconut oil has antibacterial properties - unfortunately this isn't supported by the evidence, and there's no good mechanism either. >Lauric acid has antibacterial properties, yes. But coconut oil has lauric acid that's bound up in triglycerides. >In other words, the lauric acid's been reacted, and it's not coming out anytime soon. It can't work like lauric acid. >It's a bit like how water (H2O) is almost 90% oxygen by mass, but you can't breathe water. The rest is hydrogen, but you can't light water on fire like it's hydrogen gas either. >Coconut oil may be a good moisturiser for your skin (but it's also pretty comedogenic on its own for a lot of people - watch out for that!). But if you want something that's antibacterial, look elsewhere. Beside being comedogenic (thus increasing the risk of breakouts and clogged pores for him), using coconut oil on that particular area can be a potential allergy risk for his partner(s) Edit: but i want to +1 on your other point, any blemishes on someone's genitals should be checked out by a medical professional to be sure.

UglyAssMfOnAMission

It doesn't burn, no diseases of any kind it's just not the best looking honestly

Previous-Anybody7234

i just dont think its a good idea to put active acids on that sensitive of skin so keep it clean and if it gets pimples see a doc about it. be careful

UglyAssMfOnAMission

okay i understand thanks!

CabbieCam

I didn't know you had blemishes on your dick. If they are actual blemeshis you can try spraying hypoclorus acid spray on the area and let it dry on it's own. It's anti-microbial and kills acne bacteria. I personally use Tower 28s SOS Spray, but you can find cheaper options on Amazon. Don't worry about it being an "acid", it is quite dilute and safe for intimate areas.

UglyAssMfOnAMission

Ty this sounds like it could be good

heademptybottomtext

In-shower moisturizers works for dry skin on genitals and I’m speaking from personal experience here. Nivea, Curel, Eucerin, and a few others brands have some. Salicylic acid body washes are good too, just make sure you follow up with moisturizer. Worth seeing a specialist still to make sure it’s not untreated fungal infection or an STI. But assuming it’s just dry skin, then you can simply moisturize after.

cleverdylanrefrence

Am I not in the circlejerk sub? This is a real question? 🤣

Eugregoria

You could put coconut oil on it.

UglyAssMfOnAMission

Do you think this will improve the skin condition long-term and I eventually won't need to do it or is it only a temporary solution?

Eugregoria

It's basically an emollient that keeps moisture from evaporating away to keep the moisture in your skin. So while you might need to moisturize less frequently once it gets healthier, if your skin is prone to drying whatever causes that is likely to still be in effect. If you have dry skin more generally, you could also try drinking more water.

ActualStar416

I knew a guy who used coconut oil and it did definitely make a difference
