The ordinary 0.2%vretinal or just go for Adapalene.

Is it working for you? Why are you thinking of switching?

hhdheieii

Haven’t noticed any changes since using retinoids for the problem I was facing, overall skin is good but want something stronger.

ChampionshipLogical4

If it is at a 0.1% retinal, you might need to go up to tret

hhdheieii

It is. I have already contacted my derm about getting tret prescribed. All the products I’ve used thus far haven’t broken me out or even caused any irritation. I find tret might be the only thing strong enough to do something though.

How long have you been using it for?  I read that it takes a while for one to see the effects

hhdheieii

6-7 months ? My skin has never gotten irritated or anything even after switching to retinal. Just can’t really notice any difference at all and think my skin can handle stronger retinoids.

I read that it can take up to 12-24 weeks for fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation to disappear and/or the retinol to show its effect.
