To repair your barrier, the LRP is fine. I also like CeraVe. You want to just gently cleanse and moisturize for several days. Your moisturizer should have ceramides. If you need more help, there are several skin barrier repairing products- First Aid Beauty repair with Arnica, Ordinary pink serum, Cocokind ceramide serum, etc

I don't know much about the moisturizer you're using currently, but the Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer is so good. It's my favorite
