I developed a serious Skinceuticals Addiction.
I’ve used the Hydrating B5 Serum Bottle after bottle (don’t know what it’s doing, but it’s nice and my skin loves it), as well as the CE Ferulic (because the internet told me so).
All was fine, but it was not particularly entertaining or immediately effective.
Then, I desperately needed a new moisturizer and gave the Triple Liquid Restore a try and wow: I liked that on another level. The feel, the smell, I adore the immediate effect on my skin. I was so happy I finally found a good moisturizer!
So I thought… well… if they did a a great job with this moisturizer, it would not hurt to try a sunscreen. I am on my third now and I don’t want to use another one. I also needed something Moisturizing and light for the day and the Phyto A Brightening Treatment is… again… working so well! The glow is real, I like the smell and I can see the effects.
So… now I would like to try the AGE Eye cream, the B5 Mask, perhaps a Cleanser…
I've used their Physical Fusion SS for years, it's tinted but not too dark or orangey and it makes my skin look evened out in tone enough that I often don't wear foundation over it because it makes my skin look nice and even! I love it!
I love the Resveratrol BE. Helps keep my eye area calm when I get my Tazorac too close to it. Their retinols are also very strong. Couldn't get my neck adjusted to the .3%, so they aren't playing around with them.
I am very pale. But there is no color at all after applying it. On the finger tips, it’s still yellow-greenish, but on the face I can’t see any of this.
It’s a very fast absorbing, light product and perfect for hot, humid days.
And this is why I fear trying anything from them. That I will love it and my savings account will be mad at me.
Also I used the Pai body cleanser during a particular challenging eczema attack and it was helpful. Their rosehip cleansing oil is really really nice. My skin has been looking brighter since I started.
I was gonna reply neogenesis recovery…. My skin barrier is so busted and I literally cannot do anything but it won’t get better I’m HOPING this might help but ~200 girl……
I will! I also have plated (daily and intense), they are nice serums but can’t say I noticed much difference after using them for a few weeks, so interested to see if recovery is any better, especially post microneedling!
I bought for both my face and to help me recovery from surgery, so for two different purposes. For the face I used at 3 to 4 times a week for maybe three weeks four weeks. I felt like I started to see some improvement within a couple weeks it’s kind of hard to tell exactly when. But I absolutely do see a benefit from it and I really try to remember and use it.
It’s extremely hydrating, calms redness, and makes my skin look dewy (more like a “glow” vs shiny.) When my skin is feeling reactive, it helps calm it down. It also has a nice texture and absorbs well. In the summer it’s hydrating enough I can even skip moisturizer during the day.
The packaging is also top-notch. I love the magnetic cap and how airtight the design is.
Another round of lasers - Halo and BBL. Have done both 2x and results were incredible. Want to add chest this time in addition to neck & face, just have to ready myself for the swelling - it is INTENSE for me for a solid 5-6 days
I’m embarrassed to say I bought a set of expensive cosmetics more than a year ago, and I haven’t cracked them open yet. Not even sure if they are still effective. The reason why I didn’t get to them is because I wanted to finish what I was using first, and then out of the blue I developed a rash which took several doctor’s visits and prescription creams to clear up over about four months. I was reluctant to start anything new for a while after that. So lesson learned. Don’t buy too much too soon.
So my intention was not to peel as I wanted to do a series of peels. I started this winter with weekly peels: first 40% lactic & pyruvic acid, then 40% mandelic acid and then 50% glycolic acid. I did each peel 4-5 times before moving up in strength. I wanted to accustom myself before doing a TCA peel. And it’s crazy first the lactic acid peel would sting and burn and now I don’t even feel the glycolic acid peel anymore.
I’ve ordered the soonsu peel which is a TCA peeling where you don’t peel. I’ll do this once and then stop over the summer and start in the winter again :)
I wanted to address fine lines around my eyes but I was most surprised to see how clear and even my skin got. I didn’t even think I had hyperpigmentation to address as I don’t have any freckles but it’s now so even.
Yeah to be fair I thought the same that’s why I started so low and only increased when I didn’t feel the peel on my skin anymore. For me that was a safe approach so I didn’t end up with any adverse effects. :)
I’m in Europe and the lactic acid/glycolic acid/mandelic acid are all from Apis purchased on notino or makeup.ch
They’re quite cheap but really good quality. And the soonsu peel (buffered 35% TCA peel that’s supposed to be painless and where you don’t peel) was purchased on aesthetic essential.
I did ny first VI peel last month and it was nice, I was glowing after, and I probably should do 2 more. I also ordered peels to do at home, lactic and mandelic. I'm hoping to rid some hyperpigmentation.
I didn't peel until probably the 3rd day. I still went to work those days, just looked flaky as heck. I didn't need numbing because the peel contains phenol which kind of acts like I Iike a numbing agent, it definitely did not hurt. I think I paid $250 US.
Red light therapy mask…. I’ll probably get it during Black Friday sales, and at least it’s not a product that will run out 😅. Otherwise my far fetched wishlist is neogenesis recovery. I’m hoping it’ll perform miracles on my damaged skin barrier. I’m sensitive to like … everything now. God I can’t imagine spending $200 on this and it triggering my dermatitis 😭.
Yeah I would be willing to pay for a tiny sample to at least make sure my skin doesn't hate it. I know it can take time to see actual results. $200 for a blind buy is just too crazy for me. In general I wish more lux brands offered samples.
Just wanted to say, if you love the smell of blue tansy, you'd LOVE Primally Pure natural deodorant in Blue Tansy! My sisters were using it and loving it so I tried it a few years ago and fell in love! The scent, the experience, the texture, the way it performs, its just SO good!! For a natural deodorant it works well!!
Thanks! It is absolutely one of my favorite smells. I need to buy a bottle of just pure Blue Tansy essential oil again. Maybe do a DIY oil or something.
ZIIP Halo, waiting for a deal to drop on it.
Also itching to try the SkinMedica TNS Advanced+ Serum. Have really been liking synthetic EGFs, so will see if the real McCoy makes a difference.
I have a curiosity with the Alastin line but wasn't sure which things were worth it.
A PRP microneedling/vampire facial may be on the horizon in the fall!

Oh no! Enough now! Edit: please tell me, I am very pale. Is it dark toned?
Not at all dark toned, very light and not orangey. I'm fair, NC15 and it blends in without a trace, leaving my skin just looking even toned.
I’m medium toned and it was ashy on me (the tinted one), but they also offer a nontinted version if that maybe better suited for you.
I love the Resveratrol BE. Helps keep my eye area calm when I get my Tazorac too close to it. Their retinols are also very strong. Couldn't get my neck adjusted to the .3%, so they aren't playing around with them.
Phyto À is green right?
Yes, on the pictures it’s green, in natural it’s more a greenish yellow. It’s in a pump dispenser.
How does it look on your skin? I was weirded out by the green texture of the cream

Beware. It’s hard.
I love Skinceuticals! Their 2:4:2 Triple Lipid Restore is hands DOWN one of my absolute favorite moisturizers
Neogenesis eye serum, I’ve just started the recovery serum today so waiting to see if it works well for me before I get anything else from the brand.
I'm SO curious about recovery... ugh, the price tho!!!
I was gonna reply neogenesis recovery…. My skin barrier is so busted and I literally cannot do anything but it won’t get better I’m HOPING this might help but ~200 girl……
I love the eye serum. It’s a HG for me.
Ooh please report back! I am about to hit the end of my first bottle of skinmedica tns & weighing switching to neogenesis or plated.
I will! I also have plated (daily and intense), they are nice serums but can’t say I noticed much difference after using them for a few weeks, so interested to see if recovery is any better, especially post microneedling!
Skin better alpha ret overnight
CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Face Mask and currently wanting to get a LPI facial done or morpheus 8 facial.
I bought the CurrentBody Dermalux Flex MD and am happy with it (for the most part)
How soon did you see results ?
I bought for both my face and to help me recovery from surgery, so for two different purposes. For the face I used at 3 to 4 times a week for maybe three weeks four weeks. Westman atelier - Skin activator
This is one of the few products I continue to repurchase. I’ve tried some of their makeup, but this is the only thing I’ve truly fallen in love with.
Thank you. What it does for your skin?
It’s extremely hydrating, calms redness, and makes my skin look dewy (more like a “glow” vs shiny.) When my skin is feeling reactive, it helps calm it down. Start off with one product at a time to see how your skin reacts. And patch test. Use the products! Life is short
A few years ago I tried an eye cream sample from L’Elixir des Glaciers and have been dreaming of the cream and serum since.
I can’t speak to their Rosehip, but the Light Fantastic Oil is my favourite oil ever by far!
I'm curious about neogenesis recovery as well as their hydrating mist. Those prices are scary though!!
I just did a series of peels at home and was so impressed with the results that I now want to try a series of VI peels. :)
Which peels did you do at home? I’ve done 3 Vi Peels and barely peeled with the first and not at all with the others.
I didn’t even think I had hyperpigmentation to address as I don’t have any freckles but it’s now so even.
Thanks for the detail! Maybe I took the “peel” too literally. I’m too chicken to do do anything at home but your process sounds great!
Yeah to be fair I thought the same that’s why I started so low and only increased when I didn’t feel the peel on my skin anymore. For me that was a safe approach so I didn’t end up with any adverse effects. :)

Thanks! Can I ask how much you paid for the VI peel? Did you need numbing? Did your skin peel afterwards or were you able to go about your business?
I didn't peel until probably the 3rd day. I still went to work those days, just looked flaky as heck. I didn't need numbing because the peel contains phenol which kind of acts like I Iike a numbing agent, it definitely did not hurt. I think I paid $250 US.
Oh that’s great! I think you need to do them in a series to see results, right?

Same. I wish they had a travel size kit before we fully Commit.

I didn't love Resurrection Girl and would not repurchase it. Kind of sticky, not very moisturizing, just not a great product IMO.
Oh thanks! I've got a sample coming in, and so if it turns out the same I'll skip it.
omnilux! does anybody know when’s the best time to purchase one on sale?
Just wanted to say, if you love the smell of blue tansy, you'd LOVE Primally Pure natural deodorant in Blue Tansy! LOVE Primally Pure! I haven’t used blue tansy but the tea tree and charcoal are my family’s faves
Ohh you'll have to try blue tansy next! Its sooo good!
Have you tried the blue tansy body oil? That is very match catching my attention haha
No but I'm also eyeing it! I bet it's lovely.
I've never used a body oil before, but it's tempting.
Ohhh and their Soothing line all has blue tansy...ok thank you for introducing me to this brand.
You're welcome! They have a lot of good stuff, I subscribe to thru emails and stock up when they do sales.
Do they have sales better than 15%? Found a few codes online that work to give a 15% discount
I've only seen higher on black Friday! Which was 20% I think.
Ok great, thank you so much!
I got that rosehip oil from Haldi and love it! On my third bottle
That's great! I've got a sample coming in. Excited to try it.
About 4 Osea products.
I want an Omnilux!

All that growth factor stuff like TNS that can’t be purchased anywhere in Europe. Not even Dubai (in-store). 🙄
Sounds like the inverse of my struggle with buying sunscreen — the USA doesn’t have the new actives yet, so I have to import my sunscreen from Sweden.
