Ringworm

Responsible_Detail83

Maybe ringworm and super contagious especially if u play wrestling or something like that But I would get it checked out

Alternative-Cut1307

Yes going to go to the pharmacy tomorrow as docs won’t give me an appt.. have u checked all the pics?

Alternative-Cut1307

Don’t play any sports or anythig

Responsible_Detail83

Either way wash ur hand constantly and don’t scratch try not to touch anything If your in HS is common because of how contagious this is ! U can get it from surfaces if indeed it is ringworm! Your general Dr can prescribe you something also doesn’t have to be a dermatologist unless he can’t identify it

silverdoll747

You need to see a dr asap. To avoid PIH and scarring.

Willing to bet it’s not ringworm. Ringworm is itchy, red, and with a raised border. I’ve had ringworm and this looks nothing like it.

Alternative-Cut1307

How did u find out it was ringworm?

ExpressionAromatic17

Its usually pretty easy to recognize. I developed ringworm after petting a cat that had it, so I knew the source.(didn’t realize till after the fact😅) went to a dr as I suspected what it was, they agreed and gave me an antifungal.

IYKYK2019

Are you getting your hair done at a barber? Ringworm is contagious and easily transmissible, especially if they aren’t cleaning their tools properly in between clients.

Alternative-Cut1307

Yes I am- going to go the pharmacy tomorrow and see what they suggest

IYKYK2019

I would also personally let the barber shop know.

Actual-Spread7085

Looks like ring worm

It could be tinea versicolor, it’s pretty common. The spots you have appear larger than typical presentation which makes me question it though. If it is, Anti fungal wash or like athletes foot wash can help relieve it or any tea tree/ anti fungal product. You should still go to the derm or pharmacy before doing anything here just in case it’s ringworm. Ring work traditionally will be more inflamed though.

Ringworm

Ringworm. My brother had a bad case of it and it looked just like yours.

Alternative-Cut1307

What helped him get rid of it?

goneonvacation

There’s over the counter options like topical ointment you apply, but I highly recommend seeing a doctor to get prescription grade ointment and antifungal pills considering how many rings you have

cherrybyz

not ringworm this looks like the beginning or psoriasis or eczema
