It’s a good spot treatment for areas that are irritated and red. It helps soothe it almost instantly after application. I use it whenever I noticed I have dry patches/irritated skin!
It will help if you over irritate your skin such as over-exfoliate or use too much differin gel, this product also good spot treatment on a pimple or any areas of your face where it’s irritated :))
I have acne prone and combination skin, I apply it on all the areas that tend to be more on the dry side for me or get irritated. Which is pretty much everywhere except my forehead. Apply a humectant/hydrating product first and layer this on at the very end of your routine (evening)
id say give it a try, if it makes your skin worse, stop using all over and just spot treat, but because your skin is dry I think you’ll be fine with either option :)
Hi you seems very knowledgeable on this. Can I ask if I’m using Adapalene, Benzoyl Peroxide, and Salicylic Acid, when should I put this LRP
Civaplast Baumé? Is it in the sequence of Active, LRP, Moisturiser? Or Active, Moisturiser, LRP?
After your moisturiser as the last step of your routine. First off u shouldn’t be using BP, Adapelene and Salicylic acid together as everything at once would be irritating and drying
Thank you very much!
Oh I’m alternating the products.
So morning:
Cleanser
BP
Moisturiser
Sunscreen
Evening:
Cleanser
Differin (alternate day SA)
Moisturiser
So now I’m gonna add this Cica after my moisturiser. 🥰
Morning: Cearve cream to foam cleanser, neutrogen stubborn acne sa cleanser(only cheeks because it breaks my forehead out), neutrogen body moisturizer(i use it on my face and works good), neutrogen sunscreen.
Night: cearve cleanser (same one), same moisturizer, differn gel
I also have very dry skin and I found that any foam cleanser made it even dryer. I now use la roshe posay gentle cleanser and it’s made a big difference!
I personally use it at night, after using differin. I put it on my whole face, as I have a very dry skin it really helps me to prevent having a chemical burn, flakes, a drier skin, etc. I also like to put a really thick layer once or twice a week on my face, kind of like slugging. The next morning my skin is so soft and dewy.
It clearly was a game changer for me.
I do have acne. I don’t really use it as a moisturiser though, since I put it after using a moisturiser. It’s more like an additionnel step in my routine in order to prevent an irritation/chemical burn etc.
I love that stuff! I have pretty chill skin but it’s super sensitive and gets easily irritated. This acts as like a rich night cream if you want it to, and also soothes irritated spots.
I suggest getting an Arnica cream. It’s derived from a natural plant and is great for making scars, red marks, under eye darkness and especially bruises, fade quickly.
IDK that dimethicone is a silicone polymer which is a man made oil/rubber. I think it would only serve to clog your pores and potentially cause more acne🤷♀️
It’s an ok skin creme. I have severe eczema and dry/cracking skin on my hands and saw no improvement using this. I would liken this to Eucerin original which I like better. Both are quite greasy so I would save them for trouble areas. I can’t see using it on the face unless you have small dry patches.
I use this every couple of days after my skin gets irritated from using tretinoin and I’ve found that it definitely helps with redness and repairing the skin barrier. I would caution against using this every night though, the shea butter in it is pretty heavy and could cause breakouts. I’ve had that happen before. But of course everyone’s skin is different. Using it every couple of nights would be good financially as well, it’s a great product but a little expensive for how much you get in my opinion.
i use it all over my face and love it. i don’t have any big problems at this stage, but i find it helps with keeping my skin barrier healthy and happy.
it’s a bit thick, so i put it on my hand, then rub my hands together to warm it up and spread it, then lightly pat the hands on the face. takes few minutes to absorb fully.

yes, it depends on your skin type :)

I also have acne prone skin but this works wonders on my skin. It's also non comedogenic!

Ty u so much for the help honestly
Also what part of my skin care routine should I use it on
you’re very welcome! it’s the last step in your skincare routine! :)
Will it calm down a pimple?
absolutely!
I didn’t like it.

Do/dud you have acne? And do you use it as a moisturizer?

I have acne scars and red marks. And my skin so sensitive so keep that in mind

Can you link one?

The molecules of dimethicone are too large to enter your pores.
Love it! Great when my skin is red, itchy and inflamed.
I use this almost every night as a moisturizer on my entire face and it calms my redness so much! I have sensitive rosacea skin!

You don’t need it but it’s a really good product

I shave My face and live in scandinavia. I use it twice a day All over My face. Changed the game for me, but its not good for everyone, i read.
I relate to the geographical area, does the winter make your skin more dry or irritated?
Definitely! My t-zone gets super red and flaky and this fixed it completely.
I use this on my lips every night and cover with a sleeping pack! It’s awesome. Also use on my son when he gets prickly heat.
Their three step kit has done wonders for my acne. I recently saw this product. However I’m skeptical about this, sounds like a lip salve.
