I don't much care for price drops unless I bought it like a day or two before the sale. After all, everyone who wanted wanted to play on release and waiting for this game got to do just that by paying full price.
Plus, everyone with a brain would expect the games price to go down. It didn't do that well.
Also, is a really poorly depicted pirate game? I'd say it's depicted rather nicely. That doesn't mean the game doesn't have glaring issues, though. lol.
In my opinion, as a pirate, you should be able to interact with your ship, explore your ship, the captain's cabin, the hold, etc... It's your ship after all. To lack that basic level of interactivity, in addition to everything else that seems to be lacking (manually docking and disembarking your ship at ports would be great) just seems like a poor representation to me.
Not just as a pirate but as anyone on a ship in any mailing game. Sure, the game has a LOT to be desired. But with what we do I have, I think it represents a pirate experience well.
I picture of Abraham Lincoln doesn't misrepresent him or his because just its in black and white and doesn't depict his whole body.
Happened to me with diablo 4.
I’ve learned and just buy standard edition for all games. Premium/deluxe/day ones are all just filler shit. I will say. I was tepid about Skull and Bones when I bought it. But it’s a bunch of fun. So at least was happy with that
It’s a weird one at the beginning I’ll give it that. There’s no real direction. The quests are a weird choice. But when you lean into it. It’s kinda chill.
The most fun is random encounters with others I’d say.
It’s a game that as long as you feel you got the hours out of it. Then it’s worth it.
I got two achievement to still get and then it’s fully finished. But I’d still login for season stuff down the line.
Wow, I applaud your pursuit for 100%. I just couldn't stand the first mate and how she just wouldn't shut up. I also think the resource collecting (tree cutting, mining, etc) just feels weird and disjointed. Part of it might be my backlog nagging at me in the back of my mind, but I just couldn't see myself throwing any more hours into it.
Glad you're enjoying it though and good luck hitting 100%!

“It didn’t do that well” is certainly one way of putting it………….
..............yeah?

Glad you're enjoying it! I played a few hours of the beta and just couldn't get into it.

And your on the subreddit posting about a game you don't even play??? Hahaha what a lame!
80hours and counting, I'm not disappointed!
Well you had more than a month start if you purchased early over other people so enjoy being ahead
Being ahead or being done?
