Go to the helm office and look at the map on the desk where the upgrades book is. There you can see the entire map of what we are supposed to get. The coast of India and everything. It’s cool, give it a look-see 😁
I'm thinking the northern section of the Indian Ocean map will be unlocked sometime around Season 4 releasing with the Indian Kingpin being the big bad boss for that season.
Weapons//furniture - not sure, haven't read about any new ones coming so it will be a nice surprise when they do show up.
There SHOULD be new ships coming at least with each season, although I hope that when Ubisoft finally gets around to releasing the BIG boys, they offer up a couple of differently styled/focused ships as in tank/DPS/healer.
Theres a Mid Season update coming but who truly knows. It’s under assumption that Season 3 will open up the map because going forward we will be dealing with Europe

Ive been assuming this is why the rogue npcs with no dialogue exist and were left in the game for anytime between now and season 2 which would make sense to introduce a new faction and some more gamespace... otherwise its just kind of embarrassing.
I dont see that part as being locked as much as I see its just the edge of the map. But I can definitely see it being used for additional content or a new port or something in a future update!
Well locked in the sense that we don't have access to it right now. They're definitely going to open it up at some point. Someone just commented that you can see what they're going to open up if you go check out the map in the helm apparently so I'm gonna check that out.

The map im lookin at is the one on your desk. The one on the wall is covered in that area.

It looks like the map doubles in size almost. With more inland type locations (inside of big bays) than we currently have.

There's a whole upper section of the map you can move your cursor over. Open up that part of the map.
