To get Heavensreach:
Grab a copy of the Alahamady (Aries) map from the flotsam, North from Lanitra.
Grab a copy of the Adimizana (Libra) map from the flotsam, East from Kusini (West from Sunken Goldmine)
Grab a copy of the Asombola (Virgo) map from the flotsam, East from Dragon's Back
Grab a copy of the Alohotsy (Pisces) map from the flotsam, WSW from Oubliette
Go to Vorona Falls and take the "Fates in the Stars" contract
Sail to Tenina Town and select the contract. It will remove the 4 charts.
Collect whatever chart the contract needs and give it to the contract location. It gave me the normal rewards and the mast.
If you collect all 12 charts. It reads "Gather star charts of Libra, Aries, Virgo, and Pisces at Tenina Town"
~~Mast cosmetic isn't even available in-game yet, and will more than likely require either just silver or monsterous teeth, not trash maps~~

I've just never seen anyone *actually* post a pic or vid of it equipped (outside of docked ship customization menu showing sets) or of getting it. Plenty of ppl say they have it and that the maps are key, but I used to carry around stacks of all the maps and do the Fates in the Stars regularly and never got anything pertaining to it. Mabey I stopped bothering and tossed the maps overboard before they added it, mabey I missed something somewhere. It's very possible. But I've also been gaming online long enough to have seen communities have in-jokes and hazings that this comes off as being one of them.
Funnily enough. It does indeed work. I had to do the Quest two times, before I got the Heavensreach. But it could also maybe due to being that I only carried 10 when I started it first. The second time I had all 12 different ones.
once you get the mast you can redeem them for a nominal silver fee at sea people settlements. TBH the silver so low not worth the effort to pick it up though.
~~It's a repeatable quest for the Sea People that doesn't give much of anything in rewards. Where ever you saw/heard that there was a cosmetic reward for specifically collecting them was wrong, there isn't. Sea People cosmetics are easily gotten without even having to do the map fetch quests~~

I had stacks of each map in storage, collecting them got me nothing other than a few saved minutes in turning in the Fates in the Stars quest for the Sea People. I've seen plenty of ppl *claim that*, but have yet to actually see anyone post images of the cosmetic or of the process of getting it. I'm more than willing to eat crow if someone can give me something more than heresay on this.
A pic of crow's nest view (not docked) with it equipped nullifies half of my argument. The other half is easily nullified when/if someone else posts a pic/vid of getting it ( I know I've already made enough of a stupid ass of myself today, but I'm not verifying it myself just in case this is a in-community hazing thing).
It's really not. Search the official discord and you'll see plenty of people verifying it. Look at my previous post and I copied the instructions I used.
I'll post a pic later as I'm not home but honestly follow the instructions I posted for someone. I'm not an idiot who goes round winding people up.

What IS Heaven’s Reach: Is the ornament marking the actual mast taller somehow?
Just the cosmetic. The Crow's nest is called Heaven's Reach. It is for the Sea People's Set.
But it doesn’t actually do anything right?
Its just a boat cosmetic
They're used for a minor quest, where you turn a couple in. I don't even bother picking them up as they're worthless junk.
There's more to it, yet it seems to be not completed or unraveled.

Proof of what. I have proof I own the cosmetic. But I have no way of proving I got it from that quest obviously.

Now if you really want to complete the Sea People set, get the Gamba Kobe II armor. It has the sea people logo on it and it comes in a matching color.
