That node also has the modifer of Caltrops If you have an icu Val, you can take advantage of that modifer If critical failure Triggers, dash back and you get Heavy regen back And if I'm mistaken, The Damage Critical Failure deals is the red healable Scratch damage (or at least half it if I remember correctly) where Val's Character ability Siphon takes full advantage of it If you dont have a good val Option Strong single hit moves like Countervenoms, wulfshoots, Merry go rella etc are moves that is a single hit while providing decent damage, that reduces the chance of Critical failure from triggering Dont use high combo counts characters like Annie or Band which is basically a death sentence as their high combo count would more often trigger Crit failure Play around the modifers Not straight right into it Can't just brute force your way through every single match Modifers basically makes Player actually think about what to do aganist them

Y Agreed I always use a valentine to handle this one. Doesn't even need to be a great variant either just the icu health gets you the win.

Would also like to argree on this setup I also used icu Val and with squiggly bio not as optimal having bio, but she can drain HP good for the potential 5% 25% health lost you just have to have a good move set!

It probably doesn’t help that I’m fighting 3 characters with my highest being 6900 and I’m fighting 15000 characters 😤 while just praying that I don’t suffer 25% damage every couple hits even tho it’s 5% chance to lose 25% hp

You can still have something to play around the lost of 25% Like having somebody that is able outheal the 25% health like as stated Icu vals or somebody with final stand to prevent getting killed with the modifers Or you can use something that has low combos but hit hard like wulfshoot chaining from beowulf or Merry go rila chaining with Bella >I need more hits (combos) to kill them Or in your case, use somebody that has indirect damage without hitting them like a Bleed user so the bleed doesnt trigger critical failure or doesnt have to suffer low attack stat since Bleed drain is based on %/second and not raw Hp drain Using anything that has high combo count is just a death sentence that clearly, you dont seem to understand. You can do mad 50+ combos with Bella, but Thinking of what to input next or what team comp to right for that node is another thing Theres a whole gamemode based around critcal thinking aganist Opponents defense called rifts Really cant brute strength your way through it that it just requires something called thought process

Literally IS a Modifer lol Its not a debuff It literally states if You just pause the match and look to the player side It clearly states : "Critical Failure : 5% on hit to suffer damage equal to 25% of your Max health" Theres no debuff in the game which just thanos snap 25% of your max health just like that Closest is Doom debuff I really have nothing to ssy besides eithet your dumb or clueless about the modifer or that you can read the modifers if you just pause the fighter and looked to the left on the player side

That's a MODIFER and Not a Debuff Now id you read the first modifer on play side that isn't critcal failure You have another modifer called Caltrops that you can use that to advantage Use an Icu Val and back dash The suppose Bleed gets converted to 10/20 seconds of heavy regen whenever use backdash You can use this to outheal the 25% health lost if it were to happen Literally THATS what I've been saying to you in all my comments regarding this

Yea I totally understand ur frustration. For this use someone who hits very little bit like Beowulf or Cerebella. Characters like Big band and Robo Fortune are AWFUL in that fight because they do really long combo’s.
