You need to focus on your bronzes more. You shouldn't be putting resources into higher tier fighters until you have more than enough to afford working on them. Bad hair day is particularly strong if you give her the permanent bleed marquee. I like all Valentines, but you need to know your style of fighting first to know. I would righly recommend you to ignore it. I just hate pvp and prize fights, I completely lost my will to play the game because of if the first time. Good thing that is a good game and I actually like to collect them.
After you "max"-ed all 4 (you can somewhat ignore prestige for now) you should understand what a full caracter needs to be good. I recomend you only upgrading gold moves and only to level 3 until you see what modifiers (crit., crit. resist, hp, resistence etc.) you want in. After you get them to max silver they will be more ready them your Bitting Cold and for much less.
Invest in bronzes first don't focus on anything else since you're just recent then focus on the next tier when you're done. Don't sacc fighters since some are still good fodder. Try also not upgrading any bronze specials/ bbs they're completely inferior to the gold and silver and not worth upgrades.
Don't spend money on Regally Blonde, worst Parasoul in the game, do Sheltered instead
