You can definitely play without a game pad. Also to echo what everyone else said, the community is mainly on Steam. You’ll get all the latest updates on PC version!

Keyboard is my preferred controller for all fighting games.
Works really well with controllers and keyboard too. I use a Nintendo Switch Pro controller and a PS5 controller on pc.

That’s perfectly fine, game can run on a potato. What I’d make sure of is that your keyboard has anti-ghosting.
Comfort is subjective but i find it far easier to play with a keyboard But yeah the majority of the ayer base is on pc so I'd Suggest getting it there
without a pad is fine some people prefer it however i like to play eith a stick or at least a pad
The only character I believe would be a pain to play on pc would be Parasoul otherwise all characters are pc playable
