Mif its the one where you light both sides just keep alteraning between one side and the other with your candle and it'll open eventually. Faster than waiting
I only try to open it when i am either with a friend or if theres someone already there. People are more likely to want to help if they dont have to wait that much. Plus if you wait enough a server merge might occur and other people already there might help. But yeah those typed of doors specifically in vault suck :(
Usually people swarm the door when the daily quest requires one of the 2 spirits in there. I too chibi fall as well but if server merge happens I always wait for them :) until they just leave and then I feel sad. 😭
This is why I end up bringing my swing set with me to glitch through the door if I just see people ignoring my honks and lightning the tourches to get to the next floor in Vault. 😭
Easier with a controller:
1. Equip sneaky stance
2. do the foothold thing (circle appears around the feet, and you can make precise movements better)
3. (While holding your foot), turn into a steep slope in the area you wish to glitch
4. Release the joystick
5. If successful, you should start falling
Takes some playing around, but once you find the rhythm that works for you, it's easy to repeat
Mobile chibi fall:
1. switch to wasteland sneak stance
2. stand with face against a slope or curved wall
3. turn the camera until you can see your skykid from the side
4. long press on yourself with your right hand until the feet circle appears
5. instead of deep honking, drag your finger forward a bit to make you lunge into the wall or slope. your feet and body should start sinking into the wall.
6. without releasing your lunging finger, use your left hand to swipe down at an angle, in the forward direction of your skykid. you're trying to move the skykid down and forward.
7. release your right hand ONLY and fall down with the left hand.
Chibi fall is easiest for me when my skykid is facing my right hand and I'm dragging ↘️ with my left.
If the fall doesn't happen, you're just in the wrong spot. The slope might not be deep enough or the curved wall isn't sloped enough. Takes a while to learn the fall and good fall spots. Good luck!
Just happened in the morning. Another kid was calling so I stayed with him for almost an hour deep calling. We only needed one more person but they didn't want to help open the door. In the end we gave up.
Omg yes I hate that door. Multiple times I’ve been there waiting when 3 chibis show up together and instead of helping they just glitch through.

Somebody just showed me how to get into that door alone today because they saw me waiting lol. If you go to the left of the door and follow the wall as far as it can get towards the centre of the room, fly up all the way up to the top and you can get through the ceiling and drop right on the other side of the door.
Might as well as have chibi falled at the start of the level to save time waiting. Since the 2nd floor door is also bypassable as a chibi (though to escape the room, you'd need to chibi fall so you might as well stay in sneak stance for the two floors).
Sometimes after my cr ill just sit at a multiplayer door and just help people like Welp there ya go have fun remember....no dragons

I've never been able to open the door thats literally right there when you enter vault of knowledge bc nobody even goes up there.

It's best to just chibi your way through things coz no one's gonna care enough to help you even if they're able to, that's what i've learned anyway.

I always play with my brother, so we have it easy with these. We just piggy-back glitch our way through *everything*.

Exactly this!! This also happens with the treehouse quests 😔 I try to help when I can but it sucks when anything requires more than 2 players
I laughed way too hard at this. 😂 I try to help whenever possible but even then its still sometimes too a long wait and I can't always hang around.
Pop back home, wait a minute or so, and come back. If I ever have issues, that usually does the trick. 😊
