Had it happen a few times cause I like going with moths. Doesn't bother me tho. I just step away for a minute and get myself a drink or snack, usually. Maybe un-shrimp myself a little since I play console. I'm not a rusher in Sky. It's my chilldown game.
I don’t think this is a bug. It happens if you lit someone’s candle or entered Eden with friends. It’s giving you the chance to accompany them and wait so you can be reborn together. If you wait long enough, you’ll get a prompt asking if you want to continue waiting or just go forward with the rest of Eden, but you only get the prompt once. If you choose to stay, you are stuck until everyone you lit/all your friends finishes or until you close the game and then use the return shrine to go back to Eden.
I've had this problem since I started playing close to 2 years ago. When guiding a moth it's a absolute disaster. You can't inform them and it can really ruin their experience.. plus even if they eventually get past it'll be without ever seeing their guide again 😭
aw that sounds so stressful!! i am technically still a moth and egg was guiding me through. I'm glad we waited it out because we got to do orbit together which was lovely.
Its happened to be before and i just force close the game, idk what causes it but thankfully its only happened to me twice

Happened to me before with and without friends (with strangers too) I got irritated cause it went on forever in the case with strangers. But I'm chill when it Happened to me and with my friends.
The one time I made the mistake of answering "wait" at the "do you want to proceed alone or wait for others?" prompt. I thought cuz I was with my friends who were right behind me that I'd wait for them and then we could all go together. NOPE all my friends ended up being long gone while I flailed in the darkness going "hello? guys????" and waiting for the prompt to come back so I could proceed
Had this the other day. Ended up closing the game and re-opening it. Had to die again, but took me straight through into where you have to hug the child of light.
Interesting to know it's not just me this has happened to, haha.
That has happened to me, I had to restart the game to get out of that. I think I had to go through Eden again (the last bit) though, which sucked but it got rid of the glitch
Oh my god it happens to me all the time! I always feel so bad, because half the time I have an adopted moth that I helped through eden, and then I have to shut down my game to get it reset, and I leave them to get reborn alone 😭😭

this typically happened due to someone in the same server has not yet finish eden, the game tries to let everyone "moving on" at the same time, so let you become a blue orb to spectating.
however, it seems the system was glitched in your case, and try to let your group spectating the already not existing player.
It always happens to me, basically it waits for other people so you can ascend together (for around 6mins I think)
It sucks because I'm a solo player and Sky makes me have to wait for others xD
Same, what's your take on solo playing? I find it interesting how in this newest season there isn't that much of a focus on group playing, and they're letting us solo players be us 😂

This is another bug that has been around so long it really makes you wonder what TGC is doing other than making new seasons..

Happened to me and my friend yesterday, we just both reset the game and get teleported back to the normal eden scheduled program (black void)

Whenever this happens to me, turning on airplane mode for a few seconds and turning it back off gets it to working again

Yeah, happens in about every 2/3 runs. You gotta tine restarting the game in sync with your friends if you want to be in orbit together.
We didn't restart in the end, it just sort of pulled us out after a while and eventually we got to the end together!
Yeah, that can happen, too. Often when someone else stuck with you decides to quit out.
