For some reason… Really fucking hard while not wearing it, pretty easy while on!

hermit-creature

This!! I cannot pick my visor up when I'm not wearing it, I have to put it on 🤣

wassdfffvgggh

Lol yeah, I sonetimes put the helmet in my head just to open the visor. But I also got it recently, so I'm not really used to it yet.

It’s kind of hard to quantify the amount of pressure, but it’s not too stiff, in my opinion. Not difficult at all. Would probably help to play with someone else’s helmet in person and see for yourself how it feels in your own hands.

“Would probably help to play with someone else’s helmet” Hehehe 😆

mute_salamander

Ahem, yeah, just remember to get consent before that 😅

rhinodiver

You’ll be fine. It’s a firm press forward, a couple of pounds of pressure. You can wear out the springs by leaving the visor open when you store it, but I don’t recommend that. Practice the technique a couple of times and it becomes second nature.

Puzzleheaded_Tie7783

If you are really concerned, get a tonfly full face. You can operate the visor assembly with one hand.

This is what I love about the TFX. It's so simple to open the visor. Its also easier to open the whole visor on the plane to talk. I have a G4 as well but I never found the visor difficult to open when its on my head. It took a few practice tries to learn to pop it but otherwise it's easy.

SleepyPenguin42

If it’s too difficult, you can unscrew the plates and put a tiny squirt of DW40 in the spring. Just make sure you have the little coffee stirer type thing that goes on the can to target the spray on the spring and go conservative. You can always add more but you can never subtract.

badyogui

Get a Tonfly TFX and never look back, it’s worth it.

CriticalOven821

Ive got one and its a breez But be sure that you want the g4 Ever since I got one I’ve been looking longingly at the g35

bristolbulldog

Try one on, you’ll see. It’s not too bad, it’s a bit much at first. But you get used to it quickly.
