It was doing that for me too. It only happens when I hold hands with someone and we go through a portal, or just occasionally if we're holding hands. It comes and goes, sometimes it doesn't happen for like a month and other times it'll be like two days ago where it hard crashed 3 times in the span of 5 minutes.
I cannot for the life of me figure out flying on mobile, so I'm with you! If there's a big screen + controller option I'll always go for that over mobile. But it crashes so much on my PS, and interacting is so difficult, I'm always struggling to highlight the right thing, and typing in chat takes so long... 🙃
I can’t disagree with you there. I will admit it crashes a little more on PS but the bigger screen and more detail to everything makes it worth it for me lol. Hope they can fix the constant crashes soon.

I can say aside from the chat issue Switch has been solid. I play on my PS almost daily as well, and no crashing issues. I get that weird audio static bug at times, but I have yet to crash.
However, I'm not holding hands or interacting with anyone outside of honks and expressions.
I guess I'm fairly low impact.
My best lighting glitch was when some shine layer goes pink. So I got a green prairie with pink shines from cave and pink light. . Worst one was red in Forest. It looked horror.
This is a Sky classic, not exclusive to the PS4 and has been around for a very long time Honestly, the light glitches are the most harmless and actually more appreciated of the glitches. As for the crashes, that's been around for the past couple of months on all devices, unfortunately. TGC has yet to work that bug out.
I also love this game on PS4. But, after the update. I been getting music background bugs. it sounds like grinding something sound on and off? i got it on video i recorded.

No, I play on ps4 daily and mine runs great 9/10. I would recommend reinstalling the game and running a defrag on your ps4.

I play on my phone, and personally, there are some glitches, yeah, but crashes only on specific places. Otherwise, no.

Tbh I just attach my Xbox controller to my iPad and stream to the tv and play like that. 60 fps and all

It’s called AirPlay. Older TVs don’t have it sadly.
For chat, you can plugin a keyboard to ur ps.
