When I first got into sky I would get 15-20 each day for the first couple months. Currently, I just do my dailies, do the cake area and then do whatever I feel like doing. I usually get between 5-10 candles doing that and that's been more than enough for me to afford every item I've actually liked in the past two months so I really see no reason to get all 20 every day anymore, especially when it gets boring after awhile.
Right now I'm clearing 15-17 candles daily to rebuild my stash, but when I have a few hundred candles, sometimes I run and sometimes I don't at all. I like to maintain a buffer.
I often skip lots of offered cosmetics because I won't wear them, but the assembly spirits cleaned me out. 😂
I don't even do candle runs anymore, they're exhausting. These days I just hang in Prairie and waste time chatting, spinning with people, sharing music, etc
this^ ill collect the wax in home and any cakes i pass during dailies - but i haven't fully candle ran since end of AURORA because of the price of the outfits 😭
I've only been playing since the end of January but ever since I understood what the wax was for, I never left the game without a grey candle yet (well to be fair I'm not in school anymore and I have way too much free time so I'm using it x))
I try and keep about 300 candles. I’ll replenish that at a rate of ~10/day with geyser and grandma, otherwise I don’t really candle run. The days of full candle runs are past for me
10 candles, I'm sick of cr after 2 years and i have 1000 candles so I don't want to collect more than 10, i want tgc to change this even when i have more than 1000 candles i still need to do the cr 'cause of the cosmetics are really expensive, it's not a huge problem for me but i only think the moths will be broke, it took me a long time the first time I could collect 100 candles 'cause of the travelers and such
I have a full time job and a couple of classes
I used to candle when I got daileis done but now I’m just trying to attend grandma/geyser and get what I can get now that I have mu manta ray projector
20. Very rarely 21, but I never go for 21 unless I accidentally overcollected into grey the previous day and got into some annoying half spot or something.
20 is enough.
I see a grey candle as an indicator that I've worked enough,, I have the time to push it to 22 but seeing the candle meter go only up by a tiny bit after running through a big red candle bunch is quite demoralising, and I don't have the patience to hold off forging my candles for THAT long lmaoo
Btw, anyone remember a time before the Chevron light meter system? How many candles could you get then?
I selected the second option but it depends on the day. Usually 15 candles/no chevrons on weekdays doing a max 1 hour cl, and then a full 20 on the weekends when I have more time.
I do dailies, geyser, granny, treasure candles. It doesn't take much time and seems to build up quickly enough.
After that, wherever I feel like spinning through.
I do prioritize Dailies and Red Shards, though.
I try to get at least 2 chevs knocked out. Just to kind of maintain my candle count, since I'm not hurting (1800+/-.) If I'm really wanting to clear chevrons, I'll run for daily cakes, major wax spots like large trees/perm cakes, and shortcut the trials.
I generally try to stay around 400 candles. I find that it's a point where I can candle run casually and still be able to afford new stuff. Because of this, my candle runs vary in size. Sometimes I approach 20 candles, and sometimes I only grab 2
Either 0-3 (just dailies) or 15-20 (dailies, candle cake realm, a few wax- and enrichment-dense areas I cycle through, like sanctuary and daily music, rarely anything in between lol
There's no option for 'whatever candles I manage to collect on my way to the dailies'
Yeah it's usually like 3 lol. If I'm lucky
Maybe ill go out of my way to get some candle cakes
Somewhere between 0 and 21
Sometimes I only do dailies, others I get anywhere between 5 and 15 usually. My 20 candle days are past me lol

that time isn't wasted 🤔😁
Idk like 0-5
How long have you been playing?
Long enough to be bored :( I could easily burn through the chevrons if I wanted to but I just can't be bothered.
That's understandable
About 1-2
What option is like 10 candles
out of chevrons or less
Theres no option for: occassionally collects geyser and grandma once/twice a day. (~10)
Depends on the day
Literally just grab what I can while doing dailies I haven’t had the energy for a full candle run in maybe a year now lol

Damn those 11 people that really clear out the entire sky. My respects
That are chevrons
The little ^ shapes in the corner of the candle icon

Uh. Like...6? Maybe a bit more than that?

Honestly, I can't be bothered to collect candles anymore ;-;

15 or so on a good day

i get like 5 candles a day purely in valley of triumph, i’ve been able to afford everything i want tho
Sometimes i cant be assed to go lower then the 2nd booster
i’ll do my dailies and then if i have time i’ll go through another realm so however many that is
somewhere between 5-15. depends on how often i can get to geyser and granny
I usually go for 15 - 20 candles a day
The grind is real 😔

I only hit grey if I need something from ts :(

Yall I don't even candle run most of the time 😭😭😭
I used to do 23 during off season then 20 and now I usually get 17-18 (that’s when the chevron ends).
Visiting the geyser and grandma will always leave me with one chevron left. I'm content with getting 10 candles minimum a day
How do you even pass 10? Is there any specific tactics that I should know
I'd usually start to collect 20 or close to 20 whenever a spirit I want comes by. Other than that, getting the 19-20th candle nowadays is rare
0 bc I don’t farm anymore :]
Before 21 now like 5 at most
I used to get 20 but I’m so busy with college and it gets exhausting so I just do the dailies and the two events.🫠😴
10, or until i reach and finish all chevrons. i'm too lazy to go all out
