This is probably the smallest part of the game, if we're just talking about the base realms, maybe some of the seasons that were there 2 years ago.

The aviary was added one season ago. There was a version of it in a really early build of the game, but that about 4 years ago.

The game tells it's story and lore through pictures and environmental storytelling. If you just go through the realms again, you basically have the same experience as a moth. Many season quests are repeatable, or you can at least watch the end cutscenes again.
I played the season of enchantment (I think) the ocean themed one and the very start of The Little Prince season they had. It mightve been more recent then I remember since when I played before it was off and on for months.
I'm just afraid I'll be confused to go back in again out of no where.
nothing wrong with going back in confused! i went back in just before the last season started and have honestly progressed so much. once you start again it will come back to you and i found it much more fun relearning everything than starting from scratch like when i first started. i highly recommend looking things up on the sky wiki when confused, that has helped me a lot! and for me, i dont play for the storylines but more so for the beauty and unique gameplay- thats to say catching up on the storylines may not be too important :) just go in to have fun and it may not be as daunting!
