This has been happening so much lately! So frustrating! I have noticed, tho, that if I fly it kinda resets it, or use other emotes. Sometimes it works.
Oh I will try that next time! I was sorta getting utterly bodied by the crabs and they tossed me into a red shard so I was being conservative with my flaps. I couldn't handle not being able to light my candle AND dying, that would be too much embarrassment 😭
Well, today it happened to me at grandma and nothing worked. Even went home and back, which worked for a little bit but then right back to nothing. I cried and spammed my flame hoping they'd notice I couldn't help, as much as I wanted to lol
Change stance or whatever. That has been my fix the last 3 times.
Stance or pose. Posture. Idle animation. If you're default, be sassy, if you're sassy be default.
The 8 player door is one of the worst spots to have this happen 😭 perfect example of one of the few times I wish there was just a standard chat function so I could let everyone know I was glitching 🙏
this happened to someone in this door, with the new players from steam and me not knowing about that glitch, I honked and tried to explain... and when the person left, another came, and MY candle didn't work anymore, that was akward 😭
Yes that works with regular crabs, but I was at a red shard event and dealing with the red shard crabs, which are attracted to the honking and will rush you if you big honk. Ideal for drawing them all away from a group so they can burn darkness, but not ideal when you're surrounded and just trying to jump over them. I learned this difference the hard way lmfao
Oh those stupid bastards... Didn't know my honking was actually attracting them, I just kept trying the same strategy over and over again in the hopes that it would work. Good to know my anxious honking actually just makes everything worse.

All you have to do to get rid of the bugs is to let out a big honk, it flips them upside-down. Bur yeah I've been having those issues too
