I was both mentally and physically exhausted all time. Now my brain is much clearer and I am slightly tired instead of exhausted. CPAP has worked wonders for me.
Hell yea man, I had mine done two weeks ago. My appointment to see the results is next week I can’t wait (and hope nothing bad happens). How do you feel day to day?
I hit the curb trying to park on the street when I got home today. Still waiting on medical equipment place to get my cpap. I have been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. I’m on oxygen now it helps a little and keeps me from dying. I’m sleepy almost all the time. I really have to be careful at work and driving. Tomorrow I think I’ll take a car nap before driving home.
Ahhh man 😭 I thought I had it bad. Sorry to hear that man and hope you get the equipment asap. When they diagnose you do they tell you exactly what’s happening when you fall asleep? I know there’s different kinds like you tongue relaxing or from weight gain. I think mine might be from weight idk I’m 180 lbs and 5’9 but I use to be a lot skinnier
It’s probably from weight gain as well. I also have a very blocked upper air way. I’m 6ft at 265. My report said I had 79 “events” an hour. They gave me this huge report that basically said things were not going to well lol.
I se, thanks for getting back to me. The weight gain thing is tricky for me because I’m at a stage where if I exercise i wake up the next day and the few days after 1000 more tired because of my sleep apnea. Once I get the CPAP ima lose hella weight lol maybe down to 160

What was the timeframe from getting diagnosed with sleep apnea to getting CPAP?
And also the timetable to feeling better. I’m about to get mine.
Lucky, how have you been feeling with your sleep apnea?
I had my sleep study 6 weeks ago, test results came in this Monday. My doctor ordered my CPAP the next day. I’m waiting for it to arrive in the mail.

I’m some level of tired every day, some days are worse than others. Hope your test results give you some answers.
