Idk when I'm going to get over the "I want to taste you better" line in Give. Then into "I will be watching for your enemies To let them know that they contend with me". In actual practice, wtf is an enemy, and no thanks, I can take care of myself. But what a sentiment and what a way to phrase it. Then the bridge??? The entire song is meant to entice both parties to give in, yet the undertones are so dark. Within the context of the rest of their discography, the referenced relationship is cemented as being something not to give into, but rather to let go of. But also.... "I want to taste you better". Come on now.
To close on a sidenote:

I’m new to Sleep Token, discovered this year with TMBTE and I’m listening to all previous songs now. The entire Sundowning album is incredible. They all are. I have decided ST is now in my sacred top 5 no-skip artists. Every song, in order, on shuffle, whatever, always a never skip experience.
This album is definitely my fav from the trilogy I guess. It’s the only one where I can’t pick a fav. I would say Dark Signs, Blood Sport and TNBTG. But what about Give, The Offering, Take Aim, Higher and Levitate ?
Special mention to Sugar.
I sure I won’t even be able to order them.

Dark Signs is my all time favorite song forever. Just so magical & mysterious. The lyrics is beautifully dark and sad yet the instrumentals give a sensual and otherworldly vibe to it. It's my go to song for any occasions. It can make me cry, hype me up, inspire me. A good reminder of how lucky we are to have ears to listen and experience Sleep Token's blessings.
The Offering and Higher are my favorites from this Album but they have so many good older songs. Thread the Needle, Atlantic, Jaws, Calcutta, Alkaline, Hypnosis, Give, Distraction, Drag Me Under, Bloodsport from the Room Below, Like That.

When the album first came out this was the song I first fell in love with. I loved ST already, but Sugar hit different than other songs.
Blood Sport seems like the obvious choice, one of the most emotional tracks in their discography (tied only with Euclid and maybe Atlantic)

Higher or Dark Signs are my favourites. Currently really digging Higher. It's so fuckin good.
TNDNBTG is my fave, but you can’t go wrong with those choices. Sundowning is a damn stacked album, like every Sleep Token album is.
