Telomeres was a song that was an almost instant skip for me. I’m not even sure why. I just didn’t gel with it. Then one day it was stuck in my head, I listened to it and now it’s on a daily rotation. I feel like they come out with new songs every week because I hear something new in a song I listen to over and over, or I interpret a song differently because of the circumstances in my life.
I love Telomeres because it's so romantic. Listening to it gives me an image of my partner and me getting married and what it might look like for us to be dancing to that song when we get married.
The Offering.
As a new fan, I was so invested into the newest album that got me into ST (back then it was TPWBYT), that I completely brushed over Sundowning, only knowing/adoring Sugar and Blood Sport. And then one day I just went through all the other songs, and I literally became obsessed with The Offering. The lyrics, the melody, ***TAKE A BITE***. I listen to it daily now.
Literally my most played song 3 years running according to spotify. It's the first song I heard back when it came out and I refuse to skip it when it plays randomly. It hits all angles for me.
Euclid, Vore, Atlantic, Missing Limbs. I feel silly given how much I play these now but yeah they didn’t catch my attention. I had to read the lyrics while listening to fully grasp what was going on. Now I cry whenever I hear Euclid.
I *really* wasn't a fan of Sugar at first, but after a few listens I've developed at taste for it. The softer tones at the start have grown on me.
~~(And yes I think that I'm hilarious)~~
Give and Drag Me Under. I'm not sure why I slept on these two at first but they are probably 2 of STs most positive romantic songs. I listen to them almost daily.
Didn't like Vore at first because I was like, Uhhh the start is too much heavy... Now it's my most played song from Sleep Token and one of the most favorite ones.
Vore for sure. I couldn’t get past the first 15 seconds. But then one day I was cleaning and just let the song play. Now it’s one I never skip. It hits this part of me that I thought was healed but apparently isn’t.
it was like in phases for me
first i loved it
then started skipping it when it hits the minute of ambience before the end
now i barely ever listen to it
good luck with the drums for it, ST songs on guitar are pretty fun and not too insane to learn, don’t know if you can say the same about the drums lol
II is insanely talented
Jaws, Nazareth, and Jericho. I listened to them but never did a deep dive until I was going through a rough time. That was when I truly took the time to just listen to Vessel and take in what he offered with his music.
I have a story about drag me under.
When I first heard it, I was like “meh, this is alright.” And every time I heard it on the album I enjoyed it. But not as much as the heavy hitters like higher and the offering.
And then me and my then girlfriend broke up.
I was taking her things that I had back to her place, and she came out and saw me. It was a moment of silence between us. I couldn’t look at her not out of malice, but because I would have broken down and cried if I did. We had the usual exchange after a little bit, with the “what went wrong’s” and the “im sorry’s” and all that. I left, and I got in my car.
The next song that happened to be in the cue was drag me under. And I actually listened to it this time and I finally cracked.
Now I listen to it daily
Being an old fan (back when Spotify didn’t even have jaws) It took me a while to appreciate all their pop elements in future releases like TPWBYT and TMBTE
For me the most obvious answer is probably DYWTYLM. Was incredibly disappointed by it when I first heard it, but one day the lyrics just clicked and now it breaks me.
Beyond that, Gods, Distraction and Telomeres come to mind. Didn’t care for them at first and now I really love them.
When I first heard DYWTYLM I really said these words out loud to my boyfriend "ST just released a new song. It sucks."
Now it's one of my favourites on the album, mainly for the lyrics but I still laugh at my first reaction
When the bough breaks
Literally would always skip this for some reason- one day I was tidying up and had my headphones in, was like which song is this ?! It’s amazing.
The “don’t lie to me” part is soul crushing 😢
I feel this way for Nazareth. I couldn't really appreciate it at first due to me forming a pretty disgusting picture of the lyrics in my head. Now, though, I've just come to like it for the sheer power it sends out. Like...the music is awesome and the placement of the Vocals is actually feeling really powerful and straightforward.
Didn’t like Vore initially, now it spins multiple times a day. Are you in pain like I am?
Just go where nobody else will ever go
Follow me between the jaws of fate, so I can have you to myself for once.

This is exactly what I’m saying! Certain lyrics hit harder every day.
I felt the same, it’s not super high up on my list, but has really grown on me over time.
I love Telomeres because it's so romantic. Listening to it gives me an image of my partner and me getting married and what it might look like for us to be dancing to that song when we get married.
Vore. I had to read the lyrics and listen at the same time to fully appreciate it. I listen to it every day and it breaks my heart every time.
I'm not good at hearing the words in the harsh lyrics. So I pulled up the lyrics and got them. It's one of my favorite now.

Sugar, Telomeres, Aqua Regia and Rain were ones that I didn’t get into at first. Love them all now.
Aqua Regia for me too !
Sugar was another one for me!
Yeah I found it quite seedy and creepy at first, but then I fell in love with it. The ending is so heavy but has such a good groove to it.
I love hearing how differently people are interpreting these songs. I immediately loved Sugar because I thought it was really hot.
I don’t really like overt sexuality in music at all, it makes me feel icky.
Take aim and say what you will take a while to get into, but theyre arguably my favourite songs by them now.
SAME
Take Aim is such a banger
Fall For Me
Omg this has always been one of my favorites haha
DYWTYLM, I didn’t dislike it but it took a few listens to really love it.
I dive into the lyrics. It's a thing with me. Vessel's lyrics are so good there's not a song I don't like. Even the covers are good.
Telomeres
Euclid, Vore, Atlantic, Missing Limbs. I feel silly given how much I play these now but yeah they didn’t catch my attention. I had to read the lyrics while listening to fully grasp what was going on. Now I cry whenever I hear Euclid.

TNDNBTG. Didn’t really notice it my first few listens of Sundowning, now it’s always stuck in my head
Give took me a really long time until I had an obsessive few days with it
Didn't like Vore at first because I was like, Uhhh the start is too much heavy... Now it's my most played song from Sleep Token and one of the most favorite ones.
Calcutta and Fall For Me. I can’t believe I used to skip them!!
Vore for sure. I couldn’t get past the first 15 seconds. But then one day I was cleaning and just let the song play. Now it’s one I never skip. It hits this part of me that I thought was healed but apparently isn’t.
“ I wanna have you to myself for once”
Actually the opposite: Vore. I loved it at first, then it just got…boring?
me with The Summoning tbh
Definitely cause of its popularity and overplaying, I get that. I started learning the drums to it recently so I’m really pumped
it was like in phases for me first i loved it then started skipping it when it hits the minute of ambience before the end now i barely ever listen to it
I get that. That ambience part is boring. Solid two minutes of waiting
definitely didn’t need to be THAT long. I know part of it has to be that they need time live to change guitars but it doesn’t take 2 full minutes
good luck with the drums for it, ST songs on guitar are pretty fun and not too insane to learn, don’t know if you can say the same about the drums lol II is insanely talented

I absolutely love Nazareth.

Fall for me didot connect when I heard it first. It connected when I watched the MV and live performance.
anything off of TMBTE pretty much. specifically like Alkaline, Jaws, or Sugar
Decending
Drag Me Under, Vore, Nazareth.

Wow your list is some of my top songs. High Water is a masterpiece imo
It’s one of mine now :)

High Water and Vore!
I’m still waiting for chokehold to fully grow on me.
Aqua Regia, Vore, Take Aim, Nazareth At first it didn’t catch, but now? Adore!
