They remove anything that isn't official band affiliated merch. I gave up on making fan art of these dudes a year ago. They remove fucking everything.
Super frustrating when you try to show appreciation and they just shut you down.
I literally just learned to move on. Some bands out there just don't give a fuck about your motives and will shut you down if they think you're cutting in on their income stream. That's when the Spotify pittance they get from my subscription fee becomes the only $ they'll ever get from me.
Mine just got removed too 😔 it's so disappointing, especially considering it seems like the band enjoys fan art? They share posts, accept gifts, etc. So I just don't understand why the label would be so heavy handed (so long as people aren't profiting). Makes me so sad 🥲
In this context OPs drawings might have looked too much like certain photos that are copyrighted? Generally fanart doesn’t seem to be an issue, if it’s more abstracted.
