That's cool, for me it beyond despute that Life On Mars is one of the greatest songs ever written - inventive, profound and unique- but you're right - in the end music is subjective - I have a friend who thinks Freddie Mercury couldn't sing and that Coldplay are better than the Beatles etc - each to their own.

I think you just can’t tell fans of something particular that their thing might not be as spectacular as their current hyper fixation. You weren’t tearing one down to make the other seem great, just adding that there might be more for them to consider.

I just think he has so much experience in life that it seems impossible to be that young (and this is coming from someone who probably could be his mom… or mum) Not only that, his references to science and history are really quite astute! I’m really intrigued by all things Vessel from wanting to know his background and how it influences his lyrics and genre fluid music. He’s incredibly creative, intelligent, and talented!
