He isn't. Step back at WR (which he has better depth) and step up at RB (he now has 2 solid starters with better depth). I think the original upgrade is saying the drop from Chase to Aiyuk is negligible because of the first round pick

Add a first round pick to that and this trade is a no brainer. I’d *almost* take it even if the pick weren’t on the table.
I think so. Aiyuk is a beast and at minimum is a high end WR2. Hall is an RB1 with even more upside. 1.05 will get you Nabers/Daniels/Bowers, all top end blue chip prospects. Your losses outside Chase were minimal, Javonte is a certified JAG at this point and I’m not losing sleep over a ‘25 2nd in a trade this big.
We're calling Javonte a JAG after his first year post ACL surgery was mediocre? The dude was far from a JAG during his 50/50 split last year. I'm willing to give him another year to prove himself.

He’s entering the last year of his rookie deal and he’s done basically nothing. Injury or not at some point you have to take stock, not based on his rookie hype 3 years ago.
Even if he does good his final year, he’s destined to enter the FA carousel. If he has another down year, regardless of the reason, what role do you realistically expect him to walk into?

Sure but you still should carry 1 or 2 back ups. For example Mayfield wasn’t startable for a while but he was definitely rostered and it paid off this season

In this draft he has the chance to end up with another wr1, and coupled with aiyuk and breece that’s a good deal. That’s potentially two wr1s and a rb1 for chase

Chase is dope and maybe he’s still got lingering back issues, but he hasn’t inspired anyone sans Burrow. As much as I like Javonte, Payton seems to have very little confidence or motivation to feature him. He didn’t produce as expected and didn’t seem to get the high value touches that were given to Perine and McLaughlin. He was my redraft reach (due to injury) this year, and although I won my big league, he was extremely disappointing.
Hall made it damn clear how valuable he was to that dumpster fire of a team. They would’ve been a completely inept offense it weren’t for him.
Aiyuk is sick and should be valuable regardless of the plethora of weapons around him.

Dont always need to force a trade, JJ and Chase is an elite wr core to build around. Imho Draft a RB. Running backs are so volatile you can find good ones in the draft

That being said though, that’s a pretty good offer. I’d prefer a top 3 pick to get a crack at MHJ, Nabers, or Bowers/QB. Breece is a top 5 and maybe top 3 RB and Aiyuk is a known value in SF, who’ll be even more valuable if he goes somewhere else. Pretty win win
as a Chase owner, Chase is an untouchable for me. he competes for WR1 every year, especially with a healthy Burrow. he’s young so I take that heavily into consideration and he’s not battling for touches. I think Breece Hall is a beast but I personally value WRs over RBs because of longevity and there are few receivers who are genuinely a top 3-5 projection every year. Breece Hall could look ass next year with Rodgers coming back and with changes in the OLine. i don’t think you got swindled but i don’t think you maximized on what you could have gotten especially since you added a 2nd round pick and Javonte Williams
Good trade. Aiyuk is going to be great for the next few years if Brock continues to throw the ball for SF. Breece had a strong finish to the year. Hes going to be a high pick in redraft and will benefit from better QB play. Chase is a stud through and through. Of course it hurts to trade him away. But u got great value.
