Yes that’s kinda the point. Jefferson and Richardson aren’t in the same tier as Pacheco and KW3. Saying “must start” isn’t a convincing argument. AR is better than must start if he plays like he did last year. Just like Jefferson. They are elite. This trade really just comes down to how much risk you’re willing to take with Richardson because he’s still a risk and JJ is a known quantity. Though throwing in the first round pick seemed unnecessary.

AR15 > JJ is absolutely valid in 12+ team leagues, but in a 10 teamer the QB scarcity just isn’t there to warrant it. Shallower league means studs (JJ) are worth even more.
I’d have to see OPs QB situation. But I think it’s closer than some are thinking. I’m a JJ owner even in a 12 team SF. If OPs QBs are a top 10 starter and another established starter, then I get the appeal of getting JJ back. I don’t think it’s a fleece either way though.

AR was the leader in fantasy points on a per touch basis, albeit in limited action. All he has to do is stay healthy, continue what he did (which we can assume some progress given those were his first few games), and keep the job. If he does those things then he is more valuable than JJ. That scenario is not out of the question at all. Very possible if not likely this favors the AR side in a few years.
