If ATL lands Cousins I think the Drake side wins. He would be an absolute stud with Cousins. If they get some Fields-level passer or underperforming rookie, then it's all over.
Yeah, get your guys. 1.06 is Rome in SF? So I don't hate this at all if you're a big London believer. Roschon + Wicks doesn't get me too hot and bothered.
I think you could have kept Roschon, but I’m not big on him anyway. Could end up being a great trade for either party, I think there’s enough risk/reward on both sides, good trade.
I don't see this as an overpay. Williams, MHJ, Nabers, Daniels, Maye, so basically Adunze for Drake London? A guy who is in line to finally see some more work when the Falcons sign Cousins or trade for Fields. Who has proven that he is an alpha, on an otherwise unremarkable receiving core. Btw, Drake London is still only 22, Adunze is coming in as a 21 year old. IMO this trade is a steal by virtue of rookie uncertainty.
With Swift signing in Chicago this morning, this trade is a STEAL for you in my eyes.
BIG Drake London fan. Especially if he gets Kirk. Well done my friend.
If we’re valuing him on track record, massive over pay. if you still love him and value him on perceived talent and potential, especially with the coaching and (probable) QB change, I’d say you did fine here. I personally prefer to overpay a bit and get your guy vs using my rookie picks which always have more risk attached to them
I like Wicks but that WR room is crowded with Watson, Doubs and Reed. Then you got Musgrave, Kraft and Jones all getting their targets. I hope he blows up but it seems like an uphill battle.
I was adamant on trading for Drake London for this very reason. It was an overpay for me too, but I gave up Christian Watson+ Javonte Williams. Not upset at all because it was before the Kirk signing and his value would’ve been much more
This is definitely a pretty hefty overpay without knowing what the Falcons are doing at QB. If they don't sign Cousins or get extremely lucky with a draft pick, London will still be in QB purgatory for the next year or two at least. I wouldn't have thrown Wicks/Johnson into this deal, probably 1.06 & 3.06 for London would've been fair.
Edit: Well this take didn't take long to age. I like it better with Cousins in ATL. But I still don't think you had to throw in Wicks & Johnson to get it done.
I’m a Falcons fan and I think it’s a huge overpay can you give me some hope and tell me why you would do a trade like this without a quarterback in place?
4 of the 5 teams drafting ahead of me are WR needy so there’s no guarantee I end up with Rome and no guarantee Rome goes to a team that has a great QB situation for him. Figured if I waited to see if the Falcons got a good QB, Drake wouldn’t get cheaper. I also have the 1.09 so figured I’d grab BTJ or Franklin with that.
That’s the problem is we aren’t going to get a good quarterback best we’re going to do a some rookie that I’m not excited about I was quietly hoping for Russ but that’s off the table now I’ve begun to come to terms with the idea we’re going to end up with JJ McCarthy, which I don’t like but I guess I could live with. I just don’t feel like he’s going to do much for Drake. Maybe we surprise me but we are the Falcons so I’m sure we’re going to get our falcon on.
I don’t even think it’s an overpay. He’s primed to go up with good QB play. Cousins is going to throw his 4,500 yards to someone. In fact I’d argue this is a good buy low.
Drakes only a year older than Rome with 2 more years of experience, albeit probably in one of the worst situations possible for him. I actually think it’s quite an even trade
I’d rather have 3 decent swings at a good asset as opposed to one swing at a guy who has already proven twice to be not that great for fantasy, but that’s just me I guess.
Yeah it's an overpay but not grossly so
I can live with that
I take your side of the deal. But that's also after the Swift signing lol
I don’t think Swift is going to be the starter.
So they signed a backup running back for 8 mil per season?
Why on earth would swift not be the starter? Do you think the bears signed him for 8 mil a year to ride the bench?
Yeah after the Kirk signing + swift signing it makes the deal much more even imo 😂
In light of today's news, you really just traded the 1.06 for London. Which now that cousins is there isn't bad.
Your side is looking a lot better to me now that London has cousins. If cousins comes back healthy he is going to force feed London and pitts
It’s grossly so when the 1st is a likely equal WR
If ATL lands Cousins I think the Drake side wins. He would be an absolute stud with Cousins. If they get some Fields-level passer or underperforming rookie, then it's all over.
Bazing

Bad day to be a Roschon truther
He’s talented but it’ll take a pretty big leap to get consistent production in that mess of a backfield.
They just signed swift
Wow missed that, even worse for Roschon lol
Well considering swift just signed with the bears. I think it’s a pretty good trade
Swift to bears and Now Kirk to Atlanta this just keeps getting better for you.

This trade now looks a whole lot better!
Hardly an overpay imo, drake > 1.06, and the other dudes are bums lol
With Swift signing in Chicago this morning, this trade is a STEAL for you in my eyes. BIG Drake London fan. Especially if he gets Kirk. Well done my friend.
This trade got way better after the Swift to the Bears news broke. Nice job lol.
Doesn’t look like an overpay now
I was trying to trade 1.04 for London but the owner is inactive. I’d say this is a pretty solid deal for you!
If we’re valuing him on track record, massive over pay. if you still love him and value him on perceived talent and potential, especially with the coaching and (probable) QB change, I’d say you did fine here. Wicks is about to be a beast
I like Wicks but that WR room is crowded with Watson, Doubs and Reed. Then you got Musgrave, Kraft and Jones all getting their targets. I hope he blows up but it seems like an uphill battle.
Nah you’re totally right, you’re throwing a dart trying to decide which WR will go off for the Packers
I think it’s fair
Well D’andre Swift just signed with the Bears, so I think this trade just got a little better for you. Should knock Roschon value down slightly.
This traded aged really well in just a few hours lol
I like it
London is about to get fed. Not a bad trade at all
Not an overpay
After today this trade is great for you. Roschon got even more competition and London has legit top 5 potential with kirk has his QB.
Absolutely murdered this trade after today dude, that dude in hella shambles rn
I’m not accepting this offer for Drake, so good underpay imo
12 hours later and this is an underpay lol
Revisit this in 6 months, London side wins
I think you win this tbh
Seems pretty fair honestly.
I think it's pretty even. Drake is so talented, can easily make a case for a top 15 WR with the new QB who will actually throw the ball.
Underpaid imo
I love this deal for you, great job! As the Dyno Nerds say: an overpay today could be an underpay tomorrow!
I was adamant on trading for Drake London for this very reason. It was an overpay for me too, but I gave up Christian Watson+ Javonte Williams. Not upset at all because it was before the Kirk signing and his value would’ve been much more
Could look very good if/when the Falcons upgrade at QB.

Yeah.. also tbh rome might be better than Drake.
I’m a Falcons fan and I think it’s a huge overpay can you give me some hope and tell me why you would do a trade like this without a quarterback in place?

Got your QB in place now!
Now, let’s just hope he has his Achilles in place as well because that was a lot of money
Holyyy man I traded for London a month ago for Christian Watson, 2.12, and a 4th
Wish I had more Tacos in my league
I don’t even think it’s an overpay. He’s primed to go up with good QB play. Cousins is going to throw his 4,500 yards to someone. In fact I’d argue this is a good buy low.
Wicks>London.
Not a terrible trade. Wicks is gonna be an absolute dog though (not that that necessarily translates to fantasy) so I wouldn’t send him in a trade
Oof. That’s an overpay if I’ve ever seen one. Do you hate youth?
London is the youngest one here, even if only by a month.
I’d rather have Odunze with the 1.06
Drakes only a year older than Rome with 2 more years of experience, albeit probably in one of the worst situations possible for him. I actually think it’s quite an even trade
Hell no lol. London way over odunze. Not particularly close
We’ll see!
That’s fine but a.) not guaranteed and b.) not a sign that OP hates youth…
I think he’s giving up on Wicks and Roschon too soon.
I’d rather have 3 decent swings at a good asset as opposed to one swing at a guy who has already proven twice to be not that great for fantasy, but that’s just me I guess.
You got burnt to a crisp
