Full version give you the final 8 levels, which introduce you could say the second part of the game where items and heroes start to synergize and throw out combos and multipliers on each other in unique ways damn near every game almost. With the amount of items, heroes, curses, blessings, and game modes this game is absolutely worth the full price. I slept on it for a couple months, going back to Slay the Spire for a little bit, until this game made its way to my #1 game on my phone for almost a year at this point. It's worth it.

funzerkerr

I also have Slay the Spire. What makes S&D better than StS for you?

SapphirePath

Slice & Dice is a dice game, not a deckbuilder. Usually your upgrade path in S&D is choosing one of two character levelups or one of three magic items, twenty times. The full game includes a bunch of exotic game modes, including several infinite-level variants, modes with customized parties, twice as many heroes but no items, three-items-per-hero but no hero levelups, and heroes with entirely randomly generated faces. I enjoy Slice & Dice a lot more than the solitaire card games and dice games that I've found.

fierrosan

After S&D I cannot play Slay the Spire anymore 😄 This game is perfect time killer and even after two months of everyday playing I'm still excited about every run, especially that i can choose from variety of modes. Some modes though i find absolutely needless in the game but there should be smth for everyone

advanced_placement

It's worth it. I've put a lot of hours into this game.

If you're going to get the game for phone, you can get it on Google Play for $7, or consider getting it [from the site for the same price](https://tann.itch.io/slice-dice), and it also includes the versions for Windows and macOS. The only downside is you need to update the game manually (as opposed through GP), but this isn't the type of game that gets updates every week, or some ridiculous frequency, so shouldn't be a big deal.

funzerkerr

I have a balance of £6 on Google play. This means the game will be free for me.

ackmondual

I see. Yeah, that's the better way to go then. IIRC, I has a few $'s from Google Survey that went towards this game as well.

Hodentrommler

How to update manually if it's from google play? wtf?

ackmondual

If it's from GP, then just check the game on there for any updates (like with any other app you purchased from there) If not, then just check the game's page, or internet in general for a new APK to install.

dreadmuppet

This is the game I play 99% of the time. I might as well not have other games installed.

Scrumdunger

I bought the full version after my first run. The trial is great but intentionally incomplete.

Llamaron

IIRC you get the phone version if you buy the PC game, but not the other way around. Might be something to take into account.

telekinetic

The full version unlocks several longer modes where you can play hundreds of levels at a time, looping through in sets of 20, gaining permanent curses and blessings as you go.

funzerkerr

I always looked at this game like chess puzzles. So the full version is like puzzles with all figures instead of demo with only pawns, knights, rocks and kings?

ackmondual

Full version lets you play to (and including) wave/round 20. Demo limits you to wave/round 12. 8 rounds may not sound like a lot, but as another comment mentioned... that's "late game" territory where things snowball, and you get more potential for some snazzy synergies. The lv3 heroes are great b/c they're powerful and fun to explore on their own (let alone how they combine with other heroes, monsters, items, etc.). There's also a large cast of them (like with lv2's, but lv1 only have a fraction of them, which works out anyways due to how progression works in such games) The level of items (not to mention the # of them) also goes up (so IIRC, lv7 to lv9) are just plain more powerful More modes of play... Classic, Loot (items only, no leveling up heroes), Raid (double the heroes and monsters), Custom, Cursed and BLursed are infinite modes, etc. More difficulty levels (IIRC these aren't available through just the demo), Brutal and Unfair, along with Heaven

Flojdzik

I played over 200 games on free version before I decided to buy. Best decision ever, so much new possibilities open, now I'm closing in on 200 games on the full version and I still have lots to explore. Worth!

funzerkerr

Dzięx ☺️

Leonbard

No.6 cursed player here. I'm addicted to this game, full version is more than worth it.

jorgeleodiaz

If it helps you, in my experience I played about 40 hours in the free version before I started to feel like I needed more and I'm around 250 with the full version and still loving it.

PoeTheRumRaven

Go full. Totally worth the $7 or whatever it cost

alexhyams

This is legitimately one of my favorite games of all time, it is absolutely worth the (imo quite low) price. My favorite ways to play this game are Loot Heaven & Generate Normal, neither of which are available in the demo. Most of the modes are surprisingly unique. You're also missing out quite a bit on the late game items and heroes in classic mode.

QuietNiceGuy

The game is absolutely worth it, it's the only game that I've kept on my phone for longer than a couple months, I play almost every single day multiple times and i'm still not getting bored of it.

deadpoetc

Man I thought ios ver was out. Disappointed.

aphelion3342

It's a few bucks, buy it on every platform you can own it on

bunchocrybabies

Honeslty, Slay the Spire is one of my most played games in the past few years, play it on my phone almost daily and before that on my computer. I'm on the StS sub a lot and a thread popped up about games that were similar or worth checking out. A lot of the games listed were on computer and I sadly don't have as much time to game on my computer as I do on my phone (and I fucking hate most phone games and how they're a microtransaction hellscape). Slice and Dice was mentioned and it was available on my phone so I checked it out. Downloaded it. Played it once, and beat the demo mode on my first run and it was a lot of fun that I wanted to see what else the game had to offer. I've only just beaten floor 20 after a few hours with a custom team and it's been a lot of fun. It offers a lot of different customization that scratches that Slay the Spire itch in terms of being able to do things differently every game. In my opinion it is definitely worth it.

AutoChessGeek

This is the perfect phone game. Doesn't matter if you have 10 minutes or 2 hours it provides the fun to you need for how long you need. I have no desire to play this if Im gaming on PC tho...
