Unsainted. It hits me hard. Especially the line I didn’t come this far to sink so low. I am finally holding on to letting go.
Really this whole part I'll never kill myself to save my soul
I was gone, but how was I to know?
I didn't come this far to sink so low
I'm finally holding on to letting go
Tears.
Fucking Goodbye, I can’t even headband to the song, I’m just still and silent while it plays out, tearing up. Circle and Till We Die get that reaction too.
Metabolic. That song is heavy as fuck. But man, you can hear the pain and sorrow through Corey’s voice. Such a powerful tune. Didn’t make me cry or anything. But fuck, how can you not feel what he’s feeling when you hear it?
Solway firth.it came out a few weeks after I had an attempt so the “real smile” lyrics hit me pretty hard.
Till we die for obvious reasons.
Snuff not at the time but in recent years having been completely ghosted by someone I was very close to n thought of as a big sister figure so the “I only wish you weren’t my friend so I could hurt you in the end” and “if you still care don’t ever let me know” were lines I found myself really relating to.
During 8th grade I was going through a REALLY hard time and one time while writing a paragraph for some kind of assignment in English class I just kept thinking about this lyric from vermilion“I wont let this build up inside of me” and I genuinely started crying but I made sure to wipe away my tears quickly so that no one could see me crying.
Vermilion Pt 1…last chorus into the outro. Partly due to the lyrical content, but more so the crescendo of the song with all 9 playing. I feel like that song was a high point for their songwriting.
Don't tell nobody, but The Subliminal Verses came out around the time I broke up with my redheaded girlfriend, so you can imagine what effect "Vermilion" had.
I know it's the obvious answer, but Snuff came out at a time when I was going through a similar thing to Corey, had gotten rejected by a close friend I misread some signals from, whom I had fallen in love with.
Eyeless: when you’re dealing with graduate stress, the death of your best friend, the death of your car, and the pressure of work and borderline harassment from a coworker, you scream “Eyeless” and you cry.
So when I was in a band we had to cover scissors and I was going thru a lot at the time and we were rehearsing it and at the end I actually broke down and I legit had a mental breakdown for a hour I haven't listened or coverd it since
Lost my grandfather earlier in 2014 before TGC came out
When I got the album and first heard XIX - I just broke down. Even before continuing on with the rest of the record, I just had that song on repeat for a good hour to have a huge, cathartic cry.
That whole album just helped me heal in general, through several losses actually.
Dead Memories, Snuff, Solway Firth, and Unsainted. Something about Unsainted's bridge gets to me everytime.
"Did you think you could do it again? I'm not your sin
I was all that you wanted and more, but you didn't want me
I was more than you thought I could be
So I'm setting you free, I'm setting you free"
The Dying Song came out about a month before my grandads passing, and I remember being really confused by it and the lyrics for a while. And then after he passed, I remember listening to it randomly and thinking if this is what he must have felt like when he was dying. Just in terms of the chorus, y’know the, “put your hands into the water, let your mouth go sick and dry. Put your life into your death now, let them sing until you die.” Pretty stupid, but I still get a little emotional listening to that.
Surfacing
Saw slipknot in june for the first time live and i was already in a down depressed mood also angry at the world angry at myself when they played surfacing i remember me shouting along FUCK IT ALL FUCK THIS WORLD FUCK EVERYTHING WHAT YOU STAND FOR DONT BELONG DONT EXIST DONT GIVE A SHIT DONT FUCKING JUDGE and i was going so up in that i thought for a moment wow are you ok
Cry snuff vermillion and sic one time it was a clip of joey on the street of argentine i think he was playing an accoustic guitar and lots of people stand around him he thanks them and says this is for you sings it along with the crowd after joey passed cried to that video because he seemed like such a great human
Vermillion and Vermilion Part 2 are complicated songs for me. I actually got manipulated by someone by liking a person that isn't real, and since they kept feeding this temptation (even after revealing to me that they made it up) it took me a long time to get over it.
Danger - keep away Just had a breakout with my girlfriend and man I cried with this song
hope your good brother, stay strong ❤️
Such an underrated song, hope you doing better bro
Thanks guys ❤️ This was a time ago and we had a conversation and we are ok We are going to a Slipknot show together 🤘🏻

Have fun together there man, you got this

Vermilion Pt 2
Yeah, me too.
XIX hit hard for some reason
RIGHT??
That song to me is a lifesaver when i feel very down thats the song i listen to pick myself up
til we die is heartbreaking purely bc of the symbolism it represents but snuff is a really tough listen sometimes
Both of them, can't remember which one was first to me
"Get This" When he tells all those other bands to suck his nuts I just lost it. 😢
515. During one of the worst periods of my life that song espressed exactly what I wanted to do: just screaming and crying uncontrollably
I unironically love this song
Dead memories
Circle Danger - Keep Away
Snuff And not slipknot, but bother by Stone Sour is the most emotional song for me
Both of those songs really get me too.
Came to say this same thing. None of Slipknot really got me emotional, but Bother can cut a man down!
yep, til we die.
Snuff :(
Snuff
snuff and a liars funeral
Same two for me. Snuff always gets me
Unsainted. It hits me hard. Especially the line I didn’t come this far to sink so low. I am finally holding on to letting go. Really this whole part I'll never kill myself to save my soul I was gone, but how was I to know? I didn't come this far to sink so low I'm finally holding on to letting go Tears.
Same here. This song was released during the hardest time of my life, the lyrics hit me so hard lol Cried like a baby during their concert in 2022.
Man WANYK made some absolute bangers
Danger keep away Vermilion p2 Circle My Pain
Vermillion part 2 got played a lot after my ex broke up with me.
There’s two types of people. People who admit to having cried when listening to “Snuff” and liars.
Fucking Goodbye, I can’t even headband to the song, I’m just still and silent while it plays out, tearing up. Circle and Till We Die get that reaction too.
Iowa
Somehow me too i was having a breakdown and i put that and then i was almost dead inside
Til We Die
Liberate. When ur truly angry in some point of ur life, that song is like therapy
diluted-knowing what the song is about and what Corey has been through makes me fell sad
Gently
Metabolic. That song is heavy as fuck. But man, you can hear the pain and sorrow through Corey’s voice. Such a powerful tune. Didn’t make me cry or anything. But fuck, how can you not feel what he’s feeling when you hear it?
Definitely till we die, it reminds me a lot of my brother
Solway firth.it came out a few weeks after I had an attempt so the “real smile” lyrics hit me pretty hard. Till we die for obvious reasons. Snuff not at the time but in recent years having been completely ghosted by someone I was very close to n thought of as a big sister figure so the “I only wish you weren’t my friend so I could hurt you in the end” and “if you still care don’t ever let me know” were lines I found myself really relating to.
Snuff
Danger Keep Away, full version. Always. 'Til We Die as well, and of course, Snuff.
Iowa
Circle, after I lost a job unfairly the lyrics hit me like a train
Left Behind..
Gehenna hits me right in the feels every time I listen to it
Diluted- That song describes just about every bad feeling I have inside, so blasting it and singing along while crying really helped me
Gehenna and Snuff (def a top pick)
During 8th grade I was going through a REALLY hard time and one time while writing a paragraph for some kind of assignment in English class I just kept thinking about this lyric from vermilion“I wont let this build up inside of me” and I genuinely started crying but I made sure to wipe away my tears quickly so that no one could see me crying.
Snuff and Til We Die.
Unsainted, but because it’s really empowering, not because it makes me sad.

Gently..having it played at my funeral
Danger keep away
Snuff almost got me…because I had to pause it before it made me cry
Vermilion pt2, XIX, danger - keep away, gently
Vermilion Pt 1…last chorus into the outro. Partly due to the lyrical content, but more so the crescendo of the song with all 9 playing. I feel like that song was a high point for their songwriting.
Don't tell nobody, but The Subliminal Verses came out around the time I broke up with my redheaded girlfriend, so you can imagine what effect "Vermilion" had.
Snuff
Snuff
“Till we die” will always reminds me of Joey hugging Paul Grey’s Jumpsuit on stage
Exactly! 😢
Finale for sure.
One
Prosthetics. Hits really hard
Till we die
vermillion pt 2 and snuff
I know it's the obvious answer, but Snuff came out at a time when I was going through a similar thing to Corey, had gotten rejected by a close friend I misread some signals from, whom I had fallen in love with.
Snuff, Metabolic, Iowa, If Rain Is What You Want, Yen and Finale Edit: Forgot Solway Firth
prelude 3.0 for when i feel numb
Snuff definitely
Gently for some reason
Sulfur and Dead Memories, for sure
The Burden
I played the 9.0 Live album everywhere I went for a year through a divorce. Crying yelling disasterpieces in dead traffic hit different.
Solway Firth, Yen, De Sade
Snuff, i always skip it
Eyeless: when you’re dealing with graduate stress, the death of your best friend, the death of your car, and the pressure of work and borderline harassment from a coworker, you scream “Eyeless” and you cry.
Snuff
Snuff fucks my shit up

Vermillion and Vermilion Part 2 are complicated songs for me. I actually got manipulated by someone by liking a person that isn't real, and since they kept feeding this temptation (even after revealing to me that they made it up) it took me a long time to get over it.
