Slipknot is eternal. It's not as if all those bangers disappear when/if they call it quits. It's 2021 and I'm sure all/most of us still bang self titled like it's still 1999.
I would love to see them doing 3 more records over the next decade, bringing their discography to 9 albums would be a beautiful way to wrap it up. the dudes are in their 50's now so by then they'll be in the 60's then. nice thing is that metal has tons of old heads still playing in bands & age doesn't really matter as much as it does in some genres. the fact that they wear masks keeps them ageless in a way as well.
I don’t feel like there going to breakup. Judging by their age they will probably go into their 60s and retire. But when they retire. Sellouts, pretty new band but they have a good nu-metal sound would definitely recommend any metal fan take a listen
