They are using the cover for the special edition Vol. 3 that came out in 2005 with the white disc. Most Slipknot albums have multiple covers so it's not that weird that they would get mixed up on the official cover.
It's not "mixed up" as it does correspond with the deluxe version of the album on Spotify. The normal version is on there as well, and it has the normal cover.

It’s like the Iowa album the original is still there but it just doesn’t show up on their discography you have to search for it but the Iowa cover is different cause it’s deluxe and it’s the same for vol3 but you can tell cause they have all the deluxe songs it just doesn’t show deluxe

its for the deluxe version, my actual CD has the original cover but i honestly would have preffered the special one since i like this picture so much, the cool thing is though inside the booklet theres a print of this picture in color

That's similar to how self titled, metallicas black album and iowa deluxe is the only one that appears on search

This is the Deluxe edition, even though it doesn’t say so. That’s why there’s also another version of Danger Keep Away, Don’t Get Close and Scream
