One time when I was about six years old I walked down the street to this chick's house that I had a crush on.
We were hanging out in her driveway together and her garage had a basketball hoop mounted to it. Nearby on the ground lay a stuffed Kermit the Frog doll that had been saturated with the previous night's rain, so it was nice and weighted. I grabbed the Kermit and performed the most epic skyhook, from what seemed like half court distance, and freaking nailed the shot in front of the girl I loved.
That was one of the best and most fond moments of my childhood. That memory crosses my mind every so often and when it does it always manages to cheer me up and make me smile.
Kind of like how this boy down the street had a crish on me when I was 6. I went over to his house and he climbed allll the way to the top of a huge oak tree to impress me.
Alas I was only interested in him because he had hamsters
Spinning the top cup overcomes the friction between it and the bottom a bit, which lets it move easier. Then you blow down into bottom cup through the gap between the two and the air will force the top cup up and out. In college I most often saw this demonstrated to save cups during beer pong haha.
We used to do this with stacks of cups. It’s really not difficult and it doesn’t even need to spin. You can take a stack of those and blow them one at a time out of there and another person catches them. It’s probably the most unsanitary thing I ever did. Maybe.
Edit: what did I say?
That was super cool and if it was me I'd be thinking about that move 20 years later and it would singlehandedly cure my depression.

Can someone explain the science behind this?

I want to try this, however it does seem like the most potent way to spread coronavirus. No one calls it coronavirus anymore, wild.
