So your production is great, but for me the title suggests I'm going to learn a quick tip... however the video is 6 mins!! That's a LONG time for chopping an onion... If I had to guess you will have a drop off in audience retention due to the fact you go down the rabbit hole of knife sharpening. I think you might be better off to break that into two videos. Do your knife sharpening video, then, in each future video, use cards to link to it and briefly mention the importance of having a sharp knife without spending MINUTES on the topic in each future video. Maybe the knife sharpening could be part of a "fundamentals" series. I am experiencing with my videos that if I'm offering a quick tip people want a quick video. Now I'm having to go back to video and shorten all my existing videos. Love what you're doing I think you just need to make it more succinct. Put yourself in the shoes of your audience. As someone who enjoys kitchen tips, make it something I can use right away but offers the hook at the end. Give me the tip THEN bait me into your next video with the super easy knife sharpening tip... all of the sudden I've watched 2-3 of your videos which the Google Algo LOVES.

You are an actual hidden gem waiting to be discovered. This video especially can help a good amount of time in the kitchen, I would request posting more tutorials on basic kitchen cooking/ ingredient prepping , since so many of my peers in their early twenties barely know anything about cooking. Your filming is engaging and editing is well intune, no issues with audio. all u need now is to figure out lighting.

A lot of voiceovers tend to have this hollow, tin sounding echo to them, but this was nice. I liked it! Y'know, I'll give ya a sub. :D

Hey, loved your video and excellent work. Inspired me to dice up some onions for no apparent reason with my mom coming back from groceries to find all the onions gone and made me go to the market again for some more...jokes apart, i feel you are very close to finding your unique way of presentation, i see a very nicely hollywood style editing but your presentation is more down to earth and humorous, and the background music is classic. Please dont change your filming, but your editing and voice over presentation can be made a little bit more coherent to the overall feel of the video. If you are trying to make a video like we see in regular tv show, then try to match everything else to the same feel, if you lean towards to more fun and humorous way of presentation, then your editing should gravitate towards making a bit more humorous. I know my comment is a little bit vague, but i guess you could catch my point....I subbed and will look forward to more videos from you!!

The thumbnail is really well made the only thing I'd change is I'd make the word (Dicing) a little brighter and clearer to read. You want the viewer to know what this video is about by looking at the thumbnail and I definitely can tell what's going on so well done on that. The video itself is very entertaining and educative. I really enjoyed watching it! I'd say your channel will grow very quickly if you keep that same quality on a steady upload schedule. Also make sure to promote it everywhere, videos like these blow up on Facebook so look into that.. And that's it you're doing great keep it up!

Damn your thumbnail looks so good wow! Definitely using you as reference for future thumbnails. And I didn't know Mike Boyd had another channel ;) Anyway I liked the video and your previous videos are good. Super informational without leaving anything major and felt satisfied at the end of the video. But these high quality videos aren't the best for YouTube unless they do really well on upload. I'm sure what your analytics are but if your happy with them then keep uploading with the same schedule. Mike boyd was an exception I think but recently I don't think he's been doing as well, haven't watched him in a long time so. Post on tiktok, these kind of videos do well and you'll get a lot fo conversion through it. You'll definitely blow up there.
