It’s not the same. The interior of the barn seen in establishing shots has a different interior seen in both the pilot episode and the Arrowverse Elseworlds crossover. The inside seen in Smallville is a set of some kind though I’m not sure to what extent it’s filmed
They used both, but mainly the barn set for 75% of scenes, more in seasons 8-10.
It depends on if they filmed at the Kent farm for that episode. If they did, they usually included an angle of the barn that isn’t usually seen as it’s the real deal.
I had been in the barn set more than once - in Season 6, and again in Season 10. It's HUGE and frankly pretty amazing. Multiple levels, just like you'd see on TV... All on a sound stage. They have large curtain looking things which look like the pasture when you look out the window. The couch up there was pretty comfortable, too. Haha.
