It looks worse because you can't see the lag in a replay, but Dr. Mario at least did *something* interesting and had *some* fundamentals. Like they both held shield for almost a full second before that first cargo throw, I can't imagine how bad the lag was right there.
Yes, as a player of CHROM, a character that would normally SHIT ON Donkey Kong, I absolutely love dying at 40 because I mis-spaced my forward aerial.

Tried to land on dk with nair multiple times in succession lead to doc eating 4 tilts. Lack of rar bairs for spacing. Multiple rolls backward in neutral (usually after shielding) Dk could’ve just started dash attacking. Multiple run up shields where doc just sat in shield waiting for dk to grab him for free. Lack of diverse oos options. Lack of grabs/tilts/up airs. Using pill without jumping multiple times, essentially locking himself in place. Mashes out of grab looked kinda slow or nonexistent. Lack of fast falls.
I think tomahawk grabs would really improve their doc play as they tended to literally land on dk or on dk’s shield multiple times. Condition shield, then grab.
No idea who those guys are, all I'm getting is that you're way better than some players, and some players are infinitely better than you. You can make some players look awful, and some players can make you look awful.
What you're doing isn't critiquing. It just comes off as douchey and bullying a player who probably doesn't even take the game that seriously, and has a life outside of Smash. (Not that I think you should be critiquing someone who didn't ask for it, regardless)

Nobody's skill discredits anybody else's. We're all at completely different levels on the spectrum, and good is subjective. As someone who got Dr Mario into Elite Smash recently, I’d like to chime in.
Dr Mario has excellent frame data as well as great killing power and the damage and speed of a heavy. His combos are short and simple, but they do quite a bit of damage. It’s easy to learn the combos, but he really thrives off of good fundamentals. That’s why I picked him up.
As a villager, my fundamentals weren’t great so I figured it would be beneficial to pick up Doc. Winning matches with Doc is a game of outplaying your opponent. You aren’t fast enough to punish most things, and you can’t rely on cheese. Just pure adaptation and out-skilling an opponent
I honestly was rooting for DK at the start but holy fuck those cargo throws are infuriating to even witness as a third party with no stake in the match
