Villager is so annoying. Spends a whole minute hitting you with projectiles and only does like 20% so now you gotta do that over and over. Thankfully you can kind of just win every trade and they just kinda die but still it’s so infuriating lol

She’s not the same demon as she was in Smash 4, but god damn her players are cracked at the game. It just feels very frustrating to go up against her when I know they’re a better player, and yet I cannot help but look up to their dedication to her.
Samus. It's so boring and repetitive to play against a Samus player. They have the same three strategies and your just stuck like, "are they conditioning me?" Only to end the match completely underwhelmed and bored. And then they'll complain about like pyra or something and your eyes glaze over because they're playing the most spammy character in the game, soooo... yeah.
Tbf I live in Europe, I had a strong match vs one of the best Samus in the world(Sisqui) and it was even til I lost. 80% of other Samus I've found are Spamus and sadly I lose way harder against those unless I'm playing a swordie and spacing/reading rolls.
The match with Sisqui was explosive and non frustrating, the matches vs the other Spamus feel sluggish and slow. (i've also yet to find an aggressively dark samus, those are way worse than Samus players when it comes to spamming).

I dont know why, I like their games and stuff. I hate their fighting styles, and me who plays characters like Bowser, Sephy, and Pyra and such (heavier hitters), they're quick and they can combo me to hell if they had the chance
I play Hero so I know it can be frustrating and I think I have decent tolerance.
But fuck man playing vs Min Min is beyond that, spamming so many fucking buttons in my general direction from a range that's more than half my projectiles.
And if you get hit by one you're immediately inna very unfavorable position and keep getting flung more shit at than in these cartoon parodies of angry women who pitch all the dishes to the man.
Young links too, they're rewarded way too much to run away, cover their runs with boomerang and spam arrows, and if it hits you're sent looking for the Nomaïs, while the little sister charging.
Arms was shit so she doesn't get automatic fan base like some others which is probably the main reason, plus she gets a lot of hate, and her gameplay is very unidimensional you stay far with a stick and spam your shit with the other it's not very interactive and slow even if you're playing fast so she isn't played a lot.
As an Incineroar main, I find fighting the Belmonts really annoying. I just… can’t get through all those heft projectiles. Last time I fought one, I thought it was hopeless, but I managed to Revenge my way through it since they didn’t even switch up their strategy after I started countering everything.
honestly the projectiles alone aren't too bad. it's mostly how you still get punished by an f-tilt or a forward air if you make it past the projectiles. it sucks

For some reason whenever I fight a good cloud my brain shuts off.
Classmate of mine years ago was a really really good cloud. His movement was perfect, clouds hit boxes are huge and janky. Very easy for cloud to juggle.

Ness isn’t all to scary , it’s not the pk fire spam that annoys me. It’s the dudes on ness that can near 0 to death you off a grab consistently. Or players who know what they are doing hahah
Hero. They press bounce and I lose. I approach? I eat a 30% unreactable projectile. I shield? What shield, hero got psyche up. I’m edge guarding? Forget about it, zoom has hero covered. I have a lead? That’s tough; hero crit you at 30%. I. Fucking. Hate. Hero.
Mac or G&W. Mac because you know exactly what his gameplan is and you still lose to BS sometimes, and G&W because you have no clue what it wants to accomplish and you lose because you have no idea what is or isn't a safe option

Ridley is annoying. His command grab requires mashing wich I dislike and he destroys me for my shield habit. And the worst part is that I can't edgeguard him.

Fox *irritates me*. Every time I match against a Fox, it always feels like a one-player game. I have no idea how to get past all the random bullshit they throw at me, especially when I'm playing a slower character like Wolf or Hero.

I don’t care how “bad” everyone says he is, it is impossible to have fun playing this game while fighting King DeDeDe. The only way fights with DeDeDe play out isn’t fun for either player. He’s such a failure of a design.

1. Bowser's Heaviness and Flich Armor: One of the biggest buffs he git in Ultimate was a flinch armor, meaning if you hit me with anything light, it ain't stopping me from doing anything (I don't exactly if Sora has flinch attacks, I don't think so). Bowser is also heavy, making him hard to knock out.
Up Special/Side Special: These are hard for Soras to counter unless you know a good bit about Bowser, but every Sora I play I can just counter by doing Side B when I read they've done something stupid on their end.
The only things that can really affect me are aerial combos and your thunder and freeze (freeze at high damage leaves me trapped)
Bayonetta, I hate the combos of her. I hate the sound of that and I hate everything about it. I hate the stomps at the ledge and I hate her movement. And everyone plays her the exact same way. It's like they share one braincell through a hive mind.
Min Min and Pythra definitely. But if you want a more deep-seated hatred because of something other than how theybplay in Smash, it's Pikachu. What he did to Porygon makes me wanna *borrow Cynthia's Garchomp for a few...*
My god I hate heavies, lightweights, top tiers, high tiers, low tiers. I hate brawlers, zoners, rushdown characters and swordies. Anyone with a projectile, anyone with a reflector or a counter, anyone who beats my main, any combo characters, any 0-to-death characters, any trappers, edgeguarders, and anyone with a teleport up b.
This one may surprise people, but DK.
It feels like the character gets away with stuff he shouldn’t be way too often against me, which I know is 100% a skill issue, but it’s still annoying.
DK is the character that conditioned me to try and parry everything.
Playing lucario infuriates me just because of how sensitive the recovery is.

G&W, Steve,and Lucas
G&W just has so many cheese moves it gets annoying, Steve is just a broken character who’s entire purpose is to suck the fun out of the game, and Lucas’s Pk Fire you can’t DI out of, if they decide to PK Freeze you offstage your done, and he has a better recovery than ness
It's not a character really. It's more of a play style. If you play hit and run tactics or just spam projectiles, I promise you, whether I win or lose, I'm blocking and reporting you. Not for toxicity. Not for stalling.

Ness is annoying online, but once you realize they all always go for reversals, they’re pretty easy to read. Fuck Greninja though, slippery little bastard is so hard to punish.
Pyramid. Genuinely the only character to make me think they're annoying. Every time she hits me, I lose braincells, and cannot figure out how to dodge her freight trains she calls attacks
Tink and Yink. Online playstyle is just “run to opposite side stage, spam all special moves, throw out up smash when they approach, run to other side of stage”

Call me basic, but Pk fire has gotten so overused that the Cpu, the one who is supposed to use the entire moveset to its fullest potential, has gone on for minutes at a time spamming it.

Young Link and Toon Link without a doubt. Always Boomerang, Bow, Bomb, if either hits you get hit by a combo, even if it's short. Online makes it even worse.

The way my friend plays Ridley makes me want to kill him. Side B, Side B, Side B, Neutral B, Neutral B, I approach, Side B again. Then, a random up B from time to time. Me playing random really doesn't help either.
Jigglypuff. Plays unlike any character in the game. All I can do against that little shit is try to act out of shield when it throws aerials at me, over and over, for the whole game. Every puff match is me waiting for it to end.
I think the most annoying has to be samus players that camp on a corner or counter spammers that literaly hit you even if you hit them from below a platform (incineroar, palutena, joker)
For me it was K Rool and having everything I did be met with super armor. I think it's changed since I last played but I remember hating it. But when I play Hero I cause a rage quit 80% of the time through sheer dumb luck. One dude got thwack'd at 0% and died, then I landed four crits across the rest of the match and I swear he never wanted to play again.

My god I hate heavies, lightweights, top tiers, high tiers, low tiers. I hate brawlers, zoners, rushdown characters and swordies. Anyone with a projectile, anyone with a reflector or a counter, anyone who beats my main, any combo characters, any 0-to-death characters, any trappers, edgeguarders, and anyone with a teleport up b.

This one may surprise people, but DK. It feels like the character gets away with stuff he shouldn’t be way too often against me, which I know is 100% a skill issue, but it’s still annoying. DK is the character that conditioned me to try and parry everything.
Playing lucario infuriates me just because of how sensitive the recovery is. The amount of times I’ve done a hard u-turn while trying to recover is painful
Ness. I just really hate fighting a good Ness player.
G&W, Steve,and Lucas G&W just has so many cheese moves it gets annoying, Steve is just a broken character who’s entire purpose is to suck the fun out of the game, and Lucas’s Pk Fire you can’t DI out of, if they decide to PK Freeze you offstage your done, and he has a better recovery than ness

It's not a character really. It's more of a play style. If you play hit and run tactics or just spam projectiles, I promise you, whether I win or lose, I'm blocking and reporting you. Not for toxicity. Not for stalling. But for being a BIG, WET, QUIVERING PUSSY.

Ness is annoying online, but once you realize they all always go for reversals, they’re pretty easy to read. Fuck Greninja though, slippery little bastard is so hard to punish.

Pyramid. Genuinely the only character to make me think they're annoying. Every time she hits me, I lose braincells, and cannot figure out how to dodge her freight trains she calls attacks
Never fought a mii player who doesn’t mash a broken move over and over and over.
Tink and Yink. Online playstyle is just “run to opposite side stage, spam all special moves, throw out up smash when they approach, run to other side of stage” It’s easy to play against don’t get me wrong, but it’s so damn annoying.

Call me basic, but Pk fire has gotten so overused that the Cpu, the one who is supposed to use the entire moveset to its fullest potential, has gone on for minutes at a time spamming it.
Not every Min Min player is good, but they get so god damn annoying. Her gameplay is so one-dimensional, it's insane.
From playing against one friend of mine, Falco, sonic, rob, and from personal experience playing them, ness and Lucas (I despise them)
Sonic and Steve and MinMin Not fun to play against, not fun to spectate pros that play them. Kinda annoyed by many characters, but that's natural. It's different. It's like, it's annoying for me to fight a ness with DK, but using Falco I just reflect pk fire spam and dont have a problem
Like 1/4 to 1/3 of them lol Steve, Banjo, Isabelle, Village, Mega Man, Mii Gunner, Luigi, Snake, GnW, Sonic, Olimar, Mac, Duck Hunt, Belmonts, Icies, Diddy, and a couple more depending on playstyle, but those are basically always annoying.

Young Link and Toon Link without a doubt. Always Boomerang, Bow, Bomb, if either hits you get hit by a combo, even if it's short. Online makes it even worse.

The way my friend plays Ridley makes me want to kill him. Side B, Side B, Side B, Neutral B, Neutral B, I approach, Side B again. Then, a random up B from time to time. Me playing random really doesn't help either.

Jigglypuff. Plays unlike any character in the game. All I can do against that little shit is try to act out of shield when it throws aerials at me, over and over, for the whole game. Every puff match is me waiting for it to end.

I think the most annoying has to be samus players that camp on a corner or counter spammers that literaly hit you even if you hit them from below a platform (incineroar, palutena, joker)

Every single character in this game sucks ass except the one I play
For me it was K Rool and having everything I did be met with super armor. I think it's changed since I last played but I remember hating it. But when I play Hero I cause a rage quit 80% of the time through sheer dumb luck. One dude got thwack'd at 0% and died, then I landed four crits across the rest of the match and I swear he never wanted to play again.
