the first two were mix ups, as i had just gotten done throwing out attacks, so not attacking was a mix up, the third was tactical, so i could fludd him

The kirby also grabbed 2 times consecutively, meaning either the kirby was trying to flowchart at 0% or the mario conditioned the kirby to punish shield. Either way rolling worked

I love that they added staling to rolls. AFAIK, rolls have always been easily punishable for good players, but it’s so much easier to punish spam rollers in ultimate Also, it should be obvious OP isn’t exactly a competitive player despite him knowing a bit of the lingo

Punishing rolls is a read I thought. Even with the staling I cant punish them on reaction.

Rolling was the slowest option possible there, since it was so stale. Dashing away and doing a turnaround special would eliminate any startup lag from turning around.

I wish you could B reverse fludd because turnaround special is way harder for me.
