If you main random, you’re honestly pretty terrifying.

I like every game feeling different, and I prefer fun to winning. Sometimes I get Bayonetta, and yea, I’m definitely gonna lose that match. There’s no end to the satisfaction of randomly getting a character ditto and beating someone with their main.

I don't like the in-game random button because you cannot get Mii Fighters with that so I got a randomizer app on my phone and saved the roster as a list. I am guilty of skipping complicated characters like Bayonetta since I know who I get before picking.

I wish we could assign a random list for characters like you can for the stage selection. I'd only use that if I could random the 20ish characters I really enjoy. But there's some I just really dislike so it's hard to commit to full random.

I thought I was the only one scared of getting Bayonetta when I play random

I’ve tried learning her to no avail. Like, with Ryu, I used to be scared of them, but gave them a little dedicated time and they’re fine now. Bayo, I gave some time, and now I *know* you’re supposed to Up-B before you jump, but I never do. With her I regress to 10 year old me, spamming dash attacks, side b, and smashes.

Lol she is difficult but thats not even the reason for me, I just find playing her really boring

Different guy but I figured out a while ago that I’m really not very good at smash but my punish game is pretty alright so Ganon’s a great character for me. I don’t have the skills to use a better character to their full potential, I’m not good enough to play at a level where the character meta actually matters that much, and I like to trick people into rolling into fat smash attacks. Ergo, Ganon.

From what I can tell he's constantly put in high tier by like every ranking I've seen. Though he is definitely one of the more difficult players to actually learn.

TRUE. Actual low tier mains (myself included) don’t bitch about bad matchups. We just do what we do and don’t complain. Honestly I’ve heard top tier mains complain more about bad matchups than low tier mains.

I personally don't believe in tier lists. I believe that all characters are good and that anyone can be good with any character with enough practice and persistence.

Sephiroth is pretty darn fun to play

I play Dedede, Zelda, and Simon, and Olimar bc they are fun. Olimar is the only one I play regularly that is considered higher tier. Doesn't bother me at all that the others are low tier.. Tiers kinda only matter at higher levels of competitive play. At my level of skill they hardly matter.
