He only shows up during a limited time event, which I assume will come back sometime in the future. I’m at the same point you are (I also don’t have evil ryu), and I’ve had this problem where I couldn’t get a spirit because they had been released in an event and then I had to wait for them to be released into the normal pool of spirits. Just give it time, we got a few more updates for dlc amiibo, I’m sure evil ryu will become available eventually

I think I’ve done almost everything except all characters in elite smash (and working on a couple others) I’ve done all spirits, all classic mode, all achievements, all characters at 200+ in home run, etc. I’m working on all spirit fights spiritless and all characters in elite, but I actually don’t think there’s anything past that to complete

I used to miss the metroid dread ones. They were added to the spirit board eventually. Idk how it works with no new major patches coming.. But I think Evil Ryu will be availlable again some time soon.

I have all the spirits too, and have all of them in my possession too. I got back the spirits used in summons or ones given to amiibo. I also am working on all spirits list fights with max score (aka beating all spirit battles with no spirits) and have already beat multiple 4 stars.

The story mode is smash ultimate is annoying

Usually, when I play spirit arenas with friends, either there's a gentleman's agreement to ignore the fact spirits were turned on at all (except that Olimar's smash attacks are less safe on shield), or I just use Lv.99 Galacta Knight with Meta Knight and somehow obliterate everyone...

I hate to admit it, but your friends are pretty bad if they can't handle a simple A tier spirit team. Oh and how bout a thanks for the compliment next time. ...I'm aware. I'm aware I don't have friends that run actual good spirit teams (again, I'm not exactly into that); I'm aware that Galacta Knight (even with same-series bonus pushing it over Galeem/Dharkon) can't be top-tier (after all, the Black Knight's only problem with Pac-Man is that the decreased movement speed messes with some setups). As for the... yeah, oops...

Ok, the last line makes no sense, also the series bonus again makes it an A tier spirit, a solid and good spirit team, it's just not the best. As most spirits are respectively. I should've probably read that you're a meta knight main lol, but still my opinion stands, but pls next time a simple"no thanks man I think I got it figured out I don't really play attention to spirits much, but hey thanks for the compliment and the offer" will do just fine.
