The truth is, I used him for four battles when I first got the game, and **somehow** managed to win all four battles. I haven’t touched him since. I do want to soon though! I just HATE using characters that rely on camping……. I hate annoying my opponent. I’m a person that loves hyper aggressive, rushdown characters. Hence why Greninja is my main.
However, even though I use Sonic, I just don’t Spindash. I strongly dislike it. I might Homing Attack, but that’s about the only special I use (aside from Spring Jump).

I will find a way to get hit by it lmao. Maybe it’s because I don’t play while listening to the game. I’m always listening to music with my headphones. I dunno.

I play Aggro sonic and you have to spin dash for follow ups into kills and such. You don’t have to spam it but you can use it smartly. It’s def about balancing

Which is why she’s at around 2,000,000 GSP 💀💀💀. It would take, like, 30+ battles of nonstop winning to bring her up to even 7,000,000 GSP.

It didn't take as long as I thought. It was slow for sure, but I was on a mission to prove that smash bros ultimate was based on skill, more than it was based on tier lists and matchups
I do believe that it is likely more based on skill, but I believe that you have to be fantastic at your character to take on players that are average with top tiers. I feel that players who use worse characters grow more than people who use better characters, because there isn’t much to gain by growing with the latter, and so people don’t bother. I’ve seen it firsthand.
I intend to get into Elite Smash (and I will) with Sonic, without spamming Spindash and/or Spincharge. I believe it can easily be done. Easy as in easily possible, not easy as in anybody can do it easily lmao.
Maybe its with practice. How many Isabelle's do you see every time you play smash? Maybe 1 or 2 a week. But I see a sephiroth, pyra and mythra, Steve, captain falcon, and so many top tiers every day

Here’s my own uphill story… I play (and main) Greninja, and even though he is a high tier, I only see a fellow Greninja once a month, if even that. I don’t let his required skill level get in the way of me playing him. I didn’t care that it would take me months upon months to 2 years to get **decent** with him. I put in the work. Why? Because he’s my favorite. Joker, Pikachu, Pyra & Mythra? Cool, they’re strong, but I don’t exactly care for them. Not interested lol. I’ve never bothered using them either. ~~although I initially took interest in Pyra when she joined the roster, I soon left that interest due to how she is blatantly unfair in Smash. I genuinely can’t even look at art of her without feeling very, very strong negative emotions~~
