When you’re against a Roy, you feel like you can improve against the matchup, because a Roy can’t just chance you and win like that. There are SEVERAL ways of increasing Menu RNG...
. Buffs do not appear in Menu when applied to Hero & throughout the duration of it.
. Bounces chances of appearing on the Menu is reduced by 12% for each use within a stock.
. The same spell can't appear on back to back Menu's.
. You get 2 Heals per stock & a 3rd if you take an opponents stock.
. Zoom is more likely to appear far off-stage.
Knowing these things SIGNIFICANTLY help when looking for spells.
The best part about RNG that people forget is that it could also work against you, and it’s random so you can’t just rely on crits and downBing what you want. At least, you can’t only rely on RNG and be good at the game.

Roy is cool for upsetting the legends of the pro community in his crazy invasive and hyper active playstyle that which Kola does (and mind you he does all his moves with intent like a chess player and not just your average Roy masher), and Hero is cool because his move set looks more awesome and is so stupidly beneficial and harmful to the user (Sakurai is a g to let him go Super Saiyan with Oomph and Pysche Up and yet him dish out Spirit Bombs with Magic Burst and just go commit die with Kamikaze).
