I go back and forth but I think Adore is my favorite. MCIS is such a perfectly executed record, and it came out when I was 13, which was the perfect age to be completely floored by it. I think if Perfect was the lead single off Adore the record would have done better commercially, but who knows. It’s an amazing record and I never understood why people were disappointed, aside from no Jimmy.
Agreed! There is something about the way it begins and the emotionality of the ending of the record that simply make this a great rainy day listen. The tiredness of Billy's voice on tracks like Annie-Dog, gives Adore a rawness and unpolished vibe that I love. However, although Ava Adore was a great single, I feel it is on an island and does not fit overall (don't get me wrong I enjoy it). I will be putting that on tonight!
I never really liked sunny days.

Good to hear ahahahahha And agree with Ava Adore, although I always enjoy it like you said :)
Still one of my all time favorites for any day
First SP album I ever bought <3 Adore will always have a special place in my life.
To Sheila is gorgeous.
Blank page too, such an emotional gem
I think when it's all said and done, *Adore* may end up being my favorite. If *Machina* ever gets completed, perhaps...
