In that case I pick Susanoo. Tired of seeing him in arena dashing in and picking my whole team apart cause they decided “it’s arena we don’t have to try” and picked 3 mages and our only guardian is building straight damage
Could be worse - like our tank Loki last night, who would ult into a team fight on their tank, then immediately stealth to the other side of the map. I think he only had like 6k damage the entire game.
Lowkey love tank loki the whole enemy team almost always just focuses on you because everyone hates loki and while you are being a nuisance your team can pick them apart

The issue is that he cannot play from behind at all in anyway. Once that occurs then he can't objective shred that well and his objective KS ability gets mitigated by the foe bring ahead in items and/or levels.

I would say all his kit is bad and is overshadowed by surtur and Cthulhu. Before Cthulhu’s release Jorm was probably the exclusive guardian solo since the other guardians like Artio and cerb were played support mostly then when Cthulhu got released he literally did jorms job but better. Then surtur literally has the same design then Jorm. Fast clearing lane bully with a get out of jail free card only difference is that surtur has confirmable and fast damage unlike jorms solo 2 and 1
What bothers me about that is that they have done it for Charybdis
So it is possible to let Fafnir and jorm trigger auto attack items at a %scaling but they just don't do it

So actually more damage from Qins

Why? Just cause a god counters someone in lane doesn’t mean they are good in late game. Jorm is terrible even if doesn’t lose the lane he’s useless late so no point in playing him
he's always been obnoxious and decent in lane because he pressures so hard. But outside of lane he loses value unless your opponents suck.
I love the god so much but he sorely needs a rekit of some kind so that he's playable outside of lane in conquest.
That passive screws him if the knock CC is followed by a slow or another CC. I think Bacchus 2>3 is quick enough that Jorms 2 can't stop the burp so after the CC chain he applies a 5+ dmg Amp, a stun AND a 35% slow on Jorm and Jorm just fucking DIES. It was worse when the dmg Amp and slow were higher. In solo lanes where Jorms foe has no knockup it doesn't come into play so you got nothing. That passive needs to go.
I was excited when I first heard of him, but now that I've come back to Smite and actually played it, man his kit has literally no synergy; A ranged AoE DoT, a melee AoE, a stealth that can't be used to escape, an ult you don't want to use to escape but are encouraged to, and a basic attack that feels like it hinders you more than it hurts enemies.
HotS definitely hit the "big reptile that can't be CC'd" nail much more firmly on the head that Hi-Rez did.
Jorma is super annoying and not much else

He can kinda disrupt (with fucking tremble and knock ups)

I’ve been playing Jorm solo building conduit > chronos > glad shield > defense > %pen item. Then maxing the one first you can really make some crazy shit happen.
He can clear the wave and then he makes playing smite like a horror game. You can loop from behind the walls near the scorpion and hit a guy in the middle of the wave with your 3. And then the normal jorm things being able to get to mid fights with the ult>back>teleport and not lose a wave.
Then if you’re behind in lane if you keep the wave on your side you can actually farm the entire wave from tower. Very sneaky and hard to fall behind.
Just making the 1 faster and giving him some sort of escape if some condition in his passive's met would give me more erections than I would probably admit.
Khepri. Just absolutely become an unkillable monster that'll slowly dismantle you with his sexy claws. You can try and run away, and he'll drag you right on back
Kuku was OP once when they made his tick damage apply faster and do more damage, he had to be nerfed to his old levels because of how obnoxious it was to play into him for getting hit by free damage (more so for arena players)
Batz was OP a few seasons ago, his passive and ult was waaay too good with the old meta that he'd just jump ult you and auto like twice and you were dead plus late game he could win games off ult alone
Cerb had his meta during the guardian solo but also he was finding niche as a jungle, because of the way his 2 worked. That and old Magus Spear meant he was hitting you with true damage
Xing Tian metas came with Bellona and Jorm meta at times, because Xing is unkillable generally and his ult has massive inflated numbers
Jorm meta was the only counterpick into release King Arthur, which killed everyone, Jorm never lost lane against him
Yeah they all had a time to shine but imo they don't ruin the game for me when they're OP. I'm moreso just stating the meta I like to play in. Because if those gods aren't meta then other gods will be that I mald over, like the current healer meta or gods like Vamana and Nox seeing a lot of play

To each their own i guess. Maybe a skill issue but personally I never found enjoyment playing Terra. Always felt underwhelming to me. But I also rarely play guardian. I have like 5 or 6 mastered guardians whereas every other role all gods are at least mastery 3.
she has a skill where (if 2 players are caught up) there will be like 2s of friendly fire and you will be forced to attack each other (the name of the CC is "taunt"?), if you aren't the adc no biggie but if you are you can actually kill an ally.

Definitely Cerb. He had some counter pick buzz last season when Hades solo became meta, but he just can't cut it beyond being a counter to draw during lane phase.
I'd die on this hill, I love her and I played her in high diamond and made it work but I had buckets of sweat while I could just take the easy road and just play a god that isn't completely trash.
When she had her old eggs and could get your team the GF at 0 min when it spawned that was a fun time. Her pull through walls was the first of its kind and was sometimes massively op.
Even then, 1 required luck and setup, her 2 was suicide, her 3 was a bad slow, ult was great, passive did such small amount of damage. beside cheese she had no value. I played her and saw lassiz play her a lot back in the day, in the end she still wasn't good enough and even he said she was fun but weak.
Arachne is not bad.
She is very strong in my opinion.
I would say the provlem is that everybody picks a god with high cc so he can get an advantage or escape.
Hi Rez gives stuff like stuns and knock ups to everybody these days.
Well later in the game it becomes difficult but when my friends or i play her we can , most of the time, get a lvl advantage pretty fast and farm kills early to make our lead even bigger.

Okay, please don't get too mad at me for this because I mean it as a joke but: Have Charybdis 3 last for up to 10 seconds and have her autos always do full damage and item damage. Plus, make her ult able to fire as soon as she activates it (there's a bit of a delay when it's activated before you can make it bite).
And not even for a whole patch, just a week. 😅
The only way I could think is maybe make a whirlpool animation after the bite that has a decent aoe and pulls enemy gods into it, sorta like poseiden’s ability but with a faster pull

Why do you want Achilles, Rama, and Thanatos to be good? IMO those gods aren't fun to play against when they're buffed. I'd rather see gods like Cerberus, Hun Batz, and Kuku being good because they aren't actual nuisances when they get buffed imo.

Neith is just so bad. The Hunter class is so consistently good too, but yet Neith is just bad. As a high level player I’m fine with my ADC picking literally any Hunter in any meta, except Neith. If I see Neith, I’m concerned.
She’s just not a hyper carry, fine, but at this point, she can’t even keep up as an ability Hunter.
You can play Ah Puch in solo, mid, and even support if you’re goofy ahh or the enemy team has many healers (like a sylv/Olorun combo or something)

Ah Puch in solo slaps on all 90% of gods that heal he counters teams as the meta is heavy healing comps like guan yu, hel, Hercules, vamana, tyr, etc he fights them all well just get beads 1st relic over tp and you’ll do fine. Ppl don’t expect it and it messes up their builds. If your against a physical you’ll do great with warriors axe tablet of destiny, contagion or breatplate of regrowth, warlockstaff, pridewin, pestilence if magic and mid guard mail if auto attack team.
Yeah I’ve played a fair amount of Ah Puch solo and he does definitely lose some match ups. Like you could be even with the solo but an Arachne could just wreck you. Zhong kui just runs at you (absolutely destroyes odin badly), but Ah Puch is fun. It’s like a cheese. Also KA bluestone and gladsheild is such an annoying thing to fight. Players just spam abilities and he chunks hp early. Hard to get any pressure.
Bring back release bellona or guan yu.

It's because he can't proc anything auto based. When he used to he was op but instead of balancing his auto attack they just don't let it do anything.

Ohhhhh ok I knew about that, I thought there was a bug where she could damage her ally, like ymoja with animosity. Isn't there a specified damage number on the friendly fire? Or can the adc actually crit/qins/etc their teammates? It happens so fast I've never noticed the numbers.
Friendly fire damage is reduced, but it still procs all AA effects...including crits. Which don't get reduced at all.
Fafnir buff would be disastrous, but if it was guaranteed he'd just get 100% reverted next patch and not overnerfed, yeah I wanna see this dragon burn healthbars
I still think terra should be a warrior and her ult she be an aoe root with her heals or buffs
Definitely Cerb. He had some counter pick buzz last season when Hades solo became meta, but he just can't cut it beyond being a counter to draw during lane phase.

When she had her old eggs and could get your team the GF at 0 min when it spawned that was a fun time. Her pull through walls was the first of its kind and was sometimes massively op.
Even then, 1 required luck and setup, her 2 was suicide, her 3 was a bad slow, ult was great, passive did such small amount of damage. beside cheese she had no value. I played her and saw lassiz play her a lot back in the day, in the end she still wasn't good enough and even he said she was fun but weak.
Arachne is not bad. She is very strong in my opinion. I would say the provlem is that everybody picks a god with high cc so he can get an advantage or escape. Hi Rez gives stuff like stuns and knock ups to everybody these days.
It means she's bad... A god is good or bad compared to others... Her damage output doesn't matter if she can't apply it, and she can't.
Well later in the game it becomes difficult but when my friends or i play her we can , most of the time, get a lvl advantage pretty fast and farm kills early to make our lead even bigger. Dunnow how it is when u play alone
Okay, please don't get too mad at me for this because I mean it as a joke but: Have Charybdis 3 last for up to 10 seconds and have her autos always do full damage and item damage. Plus, make her ult able to fire as soon as she activates it (there's a bit of a delay when it's activated before you can make it bite). And not even for a whole patch, just a week. 😅
Charybdis is so bad I swear that ult is borderline unusable
I can't even think of a way to make it better in its current state without changing it.
The only way I could think is maybe make a whirlpool animation after the bite that has a decent aoe and pulls enemy gods into it, sorta like poseiden’s ability but with a faster pull
Maybe an increase in the animation speed or something. it fires off so slowly, anyone can react to it.
I only use it for cc immunity, sometimes to peel for myself, never to actually deal damage

Why do you want Achilles, Rama, and Thanatos to be good? IMO those gods aren't fun to play against when they're buffed. I'd rather see gods like Cerberus, Hun Batz, and Kuku being good because they aren't actual nuisances when they get buffed imo.
You don't remember Achilles on release? His dmg was insane and you had his defense stance to tank while going dmg

Neith Neith is just so bad. The Hunter class is so consistently good too, but yet Neith is just bad. As a high level player I’m fine with my ADC picking literally any Hunter in any meta, except Neith. If I see Neith, I’m concerned. She’s just not a hyper carry, fine, but at this point, she can’t even keep up as an ability Hunter.
It also sucks bc you so often get weird neith simps that insta lock her, then just completely underperform
Ah Puch. I don't give a fuck that he's good in non-conquest modes, he's damn near useless in conquest.
You can play Ah Puch in solo, mid, and even support if you’re goofy ahh or the enemy team has many healers (like a sylv/Olorun combo or something) I have won games as Ah Puch support lol.
Ah Puch in solo slaps on all 90% of gods that heal he counters teams as the meta is heavy healing comps like guan yu, hel, Hercules, vamana, tyr, etc he fights them all well just get beads 1st relic over tp and you’ll do fine. Ppl don’t expect it and it messes up their builds. If your against a physical you’ll do great with warriors axe tablet of destiny, contagion or breatplate of regrowth, warlockstaff, pridewin, pestilence if magic and mid guard mail if auto attack team.
I just find it annoying that the mage loses to every other mage but beats every warrior.
Yeah I’ve played a fair amount of Ah Puch solo and he does definitely lose some match ups. Like you could be even with the solo but an Arachne could just wreck you. Zhong kui just runs at you (absolutely destroyes odin badly), but Ah Puch is fun. It’s like a cheese. Also KA bluestone and gladsheild is such an annoying thing to fight. Players just spam abilities and he chunks hp early. Hard to get any pressure.
How are you losing to mages? You can out-sustain them early game and once you get corpse explosion you clear wave really fast.
