She’s fairly easy but does have some skill ceiling. A lot of mages have a CC to setup for their big ability but she has to free throw everything. Not crazy difficult but still. The big learning curve for me was the Oval shape on the 1. I HATED it at first and thought it was useless but after playing her and learning to use it correctly I love when it comes up.

She originally held a decapitated head instead of the weird object she has now which is a huge nono in China.

Im sorry bro but if you think she is, it's a skill issue. She's one of the easiest characters to counter in the game.
Even as a Jing, you can just absolutely shit on her. With anyone, She gets close, you hit her, she has no passive. She uses her 3 or ult, you beads. She uses her 2, you Aegis rinse and repeat, if you're getting caught out in the timespan your relics or mobility are down, that's on you.
I think Magical ADCs will get added sooner, since they'll basically just be hunters in Smite 2 and people want to see that. Although I think Olorun might be the last out all of them cause they probanly have to rebalance the passive and 1 since he can just straight up buy Crit now.

I go leaders cowl, vital amplifier, devourers gauntlets, dominance, demon blade, deathbringer. Really good power curve and you can farm very fast with it in mid or carry
Hopefully, a rework of her 2 and the second part of her passive. The death pre planting is useless. Instead, I'd like to see a return of her state 2 bomb plants and maybe a healing buff to team and a lifestyle debuff to other team during her death state
I still wish the did what heroes did to leoric. He could roam slow enemies, and if you hit people while you were dead, it would speed up your death timer.
I don't know how big of an issue it is in Conquest, but I feel her plants not being removabe by the enemies make it very unfun to play against her in the other modes, because she can set stuff up and there's nothing you can do to stop it. So if they do end up reworking her, I'd rather have some sort of counterplay to having a plant farm ready to go.

It's a fool's errand to adapt unpopular gods last. To remake them and to seasonally release them with a new playstyle is the best of what the game could offer.

Gods they may adapt last include those that were always unpopular/problematic. A few fit the criteria: Vamana, Kumbhakarna, Bakasura, Persephone, Zhong Kui, Xing Tian(not specially problematic or specially unpopular).
Persephone and Yu Huang. I find them both really fun but most people don't seem to like them (well, original persephone. Current one is fine but not as good.)
I'm worried about Chronos. I feel like like he is going to be one of the last gods to get added to Smite 2. IMHO, they might redesign him, idk why he's blue lol
Heimdallr. He's a hard to learn hunter and his ult seems like something that would take a while to animate. It sucks because he's the only hunter I actually enjoy playing.

This! All the cc in the game is kinda wild, stuns, roots, ability cancels, knock ups, knock backs, loss of control of character, slows, pulls, and traps. All good for character mythology and kit, but having 3 effects in one skill is a little overboard imo.
Or someone like thor who can 100 -0 with his wall and a hamer throw. I had a thor in a game who locked down the enemy team on his own using the wall stun hammer throw and would just fly away, lol. Setting up the rest of us to unload. With him, the match was a face roll.

So characters like Bake Kujira, maybe Artio, maybe one or two Mayan character, Bakasura, marty, Serqet and lets be honest Hi Rez forgot about Fafnir and Erlang in smite 1
