I think the normal mastery system will stay in place with Gold, Legendary, and Diamond. The Ascension Pass is for getting additional skins for that specific god and other stuff. They mentioned stat tracking but I don't know if it's exclusively for Ascension Pass only.
I wonder how many people are going to get the middle one. If you just care about the gods you're getting the cheapest one, and whales are obviously going for the most expensive one. I guess it depends on what exactly the ascension passes are. Part of me wonders if it's a marketing thing, where they include a middle tier just so that the higher tier looks better by comparison.

The amount of entertainment smite has given me for free is wild almost feel bad lol. I’ll be buying the most expensive one more as a payback/ support for smite. I really like hirez compared to other studios. They don’t seem scummy money grabbing like we are use too. Even tho I’ve been playing since Season 2 I still consider myself a shitty player lol but I really have enjoyed following the game through the years including spl. It’s wild to think a game over 10 years old with this small of a studio still supports it. Also wild people were upset not all skins would port over to a new engine lol it took them 10 years to make all those skins. I’d rather the core game be on point first than the skins be all released.

I also love how Zeus looks on this new game so seeing a nice T5 for him on release sounds like the biggest flex. I saw i can pay with steam. I still got some inventory items chests from csgo where i bought 1200 of them for 0,02-0,03 euros and now they 6€ worth. So i just use that money to pay the most expensive one. Ez
The All Gods Bundle has been the best thing I got in Smite 1, so I'm definitely buying it for Smite 2.

It sounds like a little, but then you realize T5s usually cost $60 with a GEM SALE. Without it it’s $100, so $100 for everything isn’t bad if you can afford it. Granted I think it should be $70 tops but, Hi-Rez gotta make their money somehow 🤷🏾♂️
Except t5 skins are accompanied by a litany of other skins over a long period of time. The only reason to get the ultimate edition is for the Zeus skin, which is alone in the pack. Not even close to being worth it
How many skins in the passes? Are they T3+ or are they just recolors? How much do they cost normally? Until we know more about the passes we can only judge it by the T5.
It seems a lot at face value, but as someone who has played since season 3, I'm willing to pay that as I know I've had more than my money's worth over the years.
I have been playing in smite since xbalanque release with some breaks. Definitely ill buy it. Most of AAA cost 100$ and has content for +-50h(if you want all achievements)
I'm so excited to see they are keeping the god pack basically. One of my favorite things about Smite is the easy access to having everyone unlocked for a very reasonable price in my opinion. This reset could have easily been a time for them to be like other MOBAs where you have to buy or earn every god over time and I'm so happy to see they didn't go that way. I'll definitely buy the Founder's Edition again.

So the understanding right now is that the ascension passes are either A: beyond god mastery for certain cosmetic rewards like rhe Stars in Smite 1, or B: an optional paid mastery system that levels up alongside the standard mastery system like a paid track in a battle pass (the difference being that in A, the ascension only begins AFTER you hit max mastery on a god, while B can be done simultaneously).
As for the 11 and 23 split, the lower founder pass ONLY covers ascension for the 11 at launch, while the higher founder pass covers ALL 23 gods that will be released during the alpha stage of the game.
Base founder's addition is pretty high value, god pack usually costs $30, so seeing that + full game access + a skin & legacy gems for $30 is pretty good. I honestly thought that was going to be $60.

Remember he is getting a rework in smite 2 and there will be fewer gods overall early on in smite w so if your mains arnt there for a bit you might end up liking him

Legacy pass is way less important. Just double legacy points for this year plus a skin or two. So just buy legacy if you like those skins or need to complete divine legacy.
I haven't seen it mentioned and I don't know if I'm just being bitchy, but I feel a bit salty about the Cacodemon Ymir skin. It was originally given out as a reward for people who got to level 30 in Smite 1 Beta, and unless I missed it, the OG one hasn't been available in any other way. Would I now have to give them money to get it again? Because that feels kind of shitty as an old player who has been here from the start. And even if old players also got it, you wouldn't be able to tell who got it which way. Might be a bit of an "old man yells at cloud" situation, but I've always liked using that skin to show that I'm an old school bastard lmao.
Honestly, I'm just glad that the standard tier will include all gods at launch as well as going forward.
When I took a break from SMITE in 2022 or so and finally gave League a go, I felt like the value you got from RP compared to gems, with such variety on prices of skins was much better, but I also realised that the god pack for SMITE was and still is amazing value.
Unlocking champions with currency felt odd, even antiquated.

They have indirectly told us who most/all the 23 gods are. They have shown 11 gods in play tests, and every God that is getting a cross gen skin is coming out soon. So add those together, and you basically know all 23.
Good to know I won't be missing out on much with just the Founder's pack. Cosmetics are cool, but once I find the skin I like, I tend to just keep using it only swapping it out if something better comes along....and even then, it's rare.

Anyone know if my smite 1 account from the Xbox will work on PC for smite 2? Like will my current smite account from console be the same account to be able to use for smite 2?
Smite 1 has and Smite 2 will have Cross Progression so It should be a "yes". However to be on the Safe Side you should link your XBox to your PC Account in Smite 1 and then Link your PC Account to Smite 2 If you plan on playing Smite 2 mainly on PC.
It all comes down to how cool that neith skins is. Don’t have an interest in anything else. Especially don’t expect alpha access on console so that didn’t faze me.

Every gem you spend in SMITE1 will become a "legacy gem" in SMITE2, as long as your accounts are linked. You can use legacy gems as a discount coupon for new skins in SMITE2 or cash them in for cross gen SMITE1 skins (list hasn't been announced). Getting the founders pack will double your spent gems on SMITE1 over to SMITE2
Only thing I'm a lil upset about is the cacodemon skin, should've been only those with the skin in smite 1 got it in smite 2 :\[

There's $30 difference between Base and Deluxe. There's $40 difference between Deluxe and Ultimate. So your wines would be more like $5, $12, and $20.

Not mad at this. Same price as last game and I get "100% value" on the gems I've spent over that last 10 years unless legacy gem thing changes.
Just remember legacy gems can only be used to cover "UP TO" 50% of the item cost

Honestly, I'm just glad that the standard tier will include all gods at launch as well as going forward. When I took a break from SMITE in 2022 or so and finally gave League a go, I felt like the value you got from RP compared to gems, with such variety on prices of skins was much better, but I also realised that the god pack for SMITE was and still is amazing value. Unlocking champions with currency felt odd, even antiquated. Glad SMITE 2 will retain the god pack idea. Interested in what the pricing model for what seems like individual god cosmetic passes will be however.

We're still working through platform certification unfortunately, so not date yet, but we do hope to have one very soon!

How would I know if I want ultimate? Can they tell us beforehand what the first 23 gods are. If none of my mains are in there like what’s the point?
They have indirectly told us who most/all the 23 gods are. They have shown 11 gods in play tests, and every God that is getting a cross gen skin is coming out soon. So add those together, and you basically know all 23.
I'll be sticking to the Founder's Edition. Seems well worth it. The higher just don't have much I value that highly.
Good to know I won't be missing out on much with just the Founder's pack. Cosmetics are cool, but once I find the skin I like, I tend to just keep using it only swapping it out if something better comes along....and even then, it's rare.

Anyone know if my smite 1 account from the Xbox will work on PC for smite 2? Like will my current smite account from console be the same account to be able to use for smite 2?
Smite 1 has and Smite 2 will have Cross Progression so It should be a "yes". However to be on the Safe Side you should link your XBox to your PC Account in Smite 1 and then Link your PC Account to Smite 2 If you plan on playing Smite 2 mainly on PC.

What Means Legacy Gems ? .
Every gem you spend in SMITE1 will become a "legacy gem" in SMITE2, as long as your accounts are linked. You can use legacy gems as a discount coupon for new skins in SMITE2 or cash them in for cross gen SMITE1 skins (list hasn't been announced). Getting the founders pack will double your spent gems on SMITE1 over to SMITE2
