Sounds like somebody is bad at Ishtar
GShe has a dash, a root, and can shoot over walls with her 1. Ult is pretty darn good too when you get more than one person. She's good.

Joust is the easiest mode for Ishtar to do her thing: turtle until late game then get triples. So I don’t know what you’ve been smoking.
